Hotel GraalPosted Dec 26, 2013
Pros: The view and walking distance to town was nice. The breakfast was wonderful the one day we were able to partake in it.
Cons: Early departures should be accommodated by the staff.
Location: Ravello is a wonderful town, but the roads going to and from the town are narrow and windy.
The hotel was ok. The double bed was two single beds pushed together, so needless to say, we kept falling in between the beds. On check-out we were delayed 45 minutes to check out since the night staff did not know how to print the bill for the parking. Consequently our vehicle was held hostage and we had only 15 minutes to spare to meet our tour guide in Sicily 7 hours away.

Clean and tidy with nice staff but a bit run downPosted Nov 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
I traveled with a client to Ravello in order to meet with wedding vendors in the area. Hotel Graal was one of the few hotels still open so it was an easy choice. The room was very clean and tidy. The shower had separated from the wall so there was a bit of a gaping hole in the bathroom (not ideal) and the room's furnishings were definitely outdated. The hotel staff was very kind and helpful so that was a big plus and breakfast was good with a bunch of pastries, rolls with butter and jam, coffee and juice.

Excellent views over Ravello and Minori.Posted Oct 30, 2013
The hotel rooms view an eastward panorama across Ravello, Minori and the coast, with a small balcony to accommodate two chairs. The location is conveniently located near the bus stop to the other towns, and a short walk to Villa Rufolo and the Piazza Duomo. The staff are nice and helpful. The room furnishings are adequate.

Great views overlooking the Amalfi coastPosted Oct 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is located with a wonderful view of the Amalfi coast, whether on your patio, at breakfast or on the pool deck. The staff were helpful and pleasant, with the owner making rounds on a regular basis to check on the needs of the guests. The buffet breakfast provided a good range of choices and after 8:30 you could order bacon and eggs if you needed your protein reserves topped up. We ate at the onsite restaurant 2 nights for dinner and both nights the food was very good and the entertainment was lively and enjoyable. Be careful about some of the rooms and their condition - it took us 3 before we got one that was acceptable. Even changing rooms, the a/c was not great and the bed (two singles pushed together) each had deep canyons in the middle ensuring we each stayed on our sides. Great stay in Ravello and easy to hop the Sita bus to move along the Amalfi coast. If you take the bus up, the hotel is close to the stop, just down the hill a little.

Amazing view, pity about the rest!Posted Oct 7, 2013
Pros: The view, the pool (although freezing!)
Cons: Pool is freezing - should be heated in September. Furnishings need updating. Parking should be free.
Nice hotel with an AMAZING view but decor / furnishings desperately need updating!

Stunning view and a good valuePosted Oct 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
The Graal Hotel was a great value in Ravello. The view from the common areas, the bar, the pool and nearly all the rooms is stunning. The rooms were clean and although simply furnished, were comfortable. The bathrooms were modern and the towels large. They go out of their way to make wifi available in as many locations as possible, which isn't the easiest thing to do given the design of the hotel. But they have multiple routers on each floor and try very hard to give coverage. The staff is very friendly and competent. The breakfast is good, with friendly servers, a good selection of cereal, yogurt, breads, meat/cheese, pastries, and they will make you eggs to order. The breakfast room has that same amazing view. Our dinners at the Graal's restaurant were very good. We would stay here again if visiting Ravello, which is a cute town, with nice shops good hotel restaurants, lovely villas to visit, and a good starting point for hikes in the area or bus rides to the other coastal towns.

Convenient situationPosted Sep 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is in a lovely spot with views over the Amalfi coast. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The room we had was clean but felt a little musty. Whether this was due to the air conditioning or something else I don't know but this improved considerably after we had switched the air con off and opened the windows. Ravello town centre and the other local attractions are just a few minutes walk away, as is the local bus down to Amalfi.
