Hotel Margherita

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel really welcome. Car parking space was found straight away, luggage whisked away, and a nice refreshing drink appeared whilst we checked in. After a long journey we immediately started to relax. Our room was very nice with a lovely balcony and views over the Amalfi coast. Rooftop restaurant had a great atmosphere, again lovely views and nice food. Comprehensive selection for breakfast with eggs cooked anyway you wanted. In summary a lovely hotel with a relaxing atmosphere and brilliant staff.

The hotel is located in a excellent location with a fantastic beach on the way to amalfi. The terrace and the service was perfect, it is super relax and the food was like be at home.

My wife and i spent three WONDERFUL nights at Hotel Margerita in the first week of May 2013, celebrating our 20th anniversary. What view we had from our room!!!! Suela and her staff were amazing. Suela met us at check in with a refreshing cocktail and gave us all info we needed for what to see in the Amalfi Coast. Thank you!! We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back on our next trip (next year hopefully), with our kids Tried to upload the picture but this will only accept 5MB or smaller and my pics are larger...but incredible views!!!!

What a fantastic hotel to have discovered! A beautiful setting, our balcony overlooking the bay, in the quietest location on the Amalfi coast. Only 15 minutes by bus from Positano, and the bus stops literally outside the hotel door. We had a car and travelled to Amalfi, Ravello, and Pompeii, driving is definitely not for the faint hearted - but great fun! The hotel itself is lovely, lovely roof terrace which is wonderful to sunbathe on, or eat lunch or dinner overlooking the sea. Our room was perfect, large, traditional room with the most comfortable bed. We could open the balcony doors and lay on our bed and watch the beautiful sea view. Lovely modern bathroom. The jewel in the crown for us was the wonderful staff of the hotel. Suela and Andrea run the hotel with such professionalism, but at the same time manage to deliver the most fantastic personal service to their guests. If we ever had any queries about our travels, Suela came up with all the answers, she spends her time making sure that you have the best experience. She even anticipates problems that may arise before they have happened. All the staff from the cleaner in our room to the waiters and cook are the friendliest, most helpful people we have ever experienced in all our travels. We will definitely be returning

Great hotel, wonderful staff who cant do enough for you. Beautiful views and location. Highly recommended for couples or families. Lots of places to visit, Sorrento, Capri,Positano, Pompei, Amalfi, Vesuvius and many more. Taxis are very expensive so most people travel by bus and many restaurants are expensive also.

Absolutely first class hotel. Faultless. We had a fantastic stay in a great resort with a superb hotel. I will definitely return & choose exactly the same... Though hopefully stay for longer...

A fab experience staying at hotel Margherita, great staff and in a brilliant position.

This hotel is the best ever. The people could not be any nicer and more willing to assist you with any request. It was the cleanest hotel I've ever seen. The views are breath taking. Even the restaurant food on site was exceptional.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at margherita hotel. The staff were excellent and could not do enough to please. Although hotel not in a tourist hub bub- travel links great and hotel staff were happy to take us to bus stops and pick us up at any time. Would definitely recommended the hotel and if ever to return to the Amalfi Coast would definitely return to hotel. Great views and superb terrace !

We stayed in Praiano Italy March 2013 at the Hotel Margherita and loved it! Upon arrival we were greeted with complimentary wine and beer and immediately upgraded to a room with a balcony and ocean view. The family that owns the Hotel is wonderful and always willing to help us. Suela and her husband Andre were so kind and amazing, as well as Francesco, Mario and Genaro waiting on us and giving us rides to the bus stop. This Hotel was charming, clean, in the best location to see Amalfi and Positano, (it's in the middle) and Ravello. We can't say enough good things about the Hotel and family staff. Suela was always checking on bus schedules, rentals of scooters, and things to do in the area. We have traveled all over the world and stayed in many different places and nice hotels and we would absolutely recommend the Hotel Margherita to anyone who wants a real Italian experience and welcome, as well as a great location and good price including an excellent hot breakfast, also excellent restaurant for dinner!
