A hotel with a heart!Posted Oct 22, 2013
Pros: The excellent personal service given by all staff.
Cons: The air conditioning is limited in low season due to Green Issues which we found difficult because even in October it was warm at night.
The warmth and sincerity of the welcome that this hotel offers is what sets it apart from others. Everyone on the staff goes the extra mile to ensure that everything you wish for is taken care of. They take time to actively listen and respond to any requests. They will try to accommodate your every need and have some creative ideas of their own to contribute, you just need to ask. Nothing seems to be too much trouble. We shall be using the hotel and apartments for our wedding guests next May. After a brief four day tour to see the town and hotel we left totally reassured that we are in the of best hands. We cannot wait to return not just for the wedding but for future visits to use the hotel as a base for the Amalfi Coast. The food was varied and excellent everything is locally produced and the menus are created by a talented chef. The service in both the breakfast room and restaurant was friendly yet unobtrusive. The housekeeping ladies were friendly and helpful and made our room beautiful every day. We definitely recommend the hotel to others. However the apartments belonging to the hotel are also excellent value and offer greater flexibility for those who prefer a less formal stay.

Excellent location in town centre overlooking seaPosted Oct 16, 2013
Pros: Sea view Close to harbour
Cons: Get the fountains working or rip them out and convert to a car park
Location: Roads not for faint hearted Parking anywhere on Amalfi Coast is a nightmare Good ferry service to Capri - do not miss, chairlift from Anacapri ****
Good value, generous size room with balcony and sea view. Now looking a little tired but still acceptable. Attractive lounge/bar area Stayed in Mid October, but roof top pool a little neglected and requires regular cleaning. Unused and decaying fountain area could be stunning, but now looking very sad With a little investment this could be a very good hotel, however even in this condition, it is recommended. We liked Maiori, unlike Amalfi and Positano, there was space to move around!

Nice hotel, Great locationPosted Sep 30, 2013
Pros: The location, roof bar and the view
Cons: A softer mattress would be nice
Location: Very close to bus stop that links to Amalfi, its about 20 mins on the bus and from Amalfi you can transfer to all the other towns. Great restaurants
The hotel was in a great location, the upgrade I had requested was ready and the sea view was well worth the money, absolutely stunning. The room was big and clean, although the bed was a tad hard for my preference. Wifi was offered free throughout the hotel was a little patchy in places but still usable just slow. The staff were helpful and welcoming. I was slightly disappointed at having to pay for beach access considering it seemed quite a high tariff with 17 euros being the cheapest. My understanding from the website was that access was restricted to hotel guests. Was very impressed with the roof terrace for breakfast

Hotel was close to the beachPosted Sep 30, 2013
Pros: The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good and on the roof terrace so the view every morning was fantastic
Cons: The beds were too hard.
Location: The rest of Amalfi is accessible by bus/taxi from the hotel. The hotel also offer excursion ex. Pompei, Capri etc.
We arrived at Hotel Panaroma on 21 September 2013. We arranged our transfer with them & the driver was very pleasant & stop for photos along the way. The hotel is lovely. Our room was good and they even had a little fridge which kept our water cold and a few things we bought from the supermarket around the corner. The only fault with the room was the beds were hard as a rock. I had back pain for half an hour each morning when I woke up. The sheets and towels were changed every day. We were B&B and there was a wide range for breakfast. The hotel is in a quite resort for this time of year, which is what we were looking for. It is accessible by bus/taxi to the rest of the Amalfi Coast.

Great location and clean hotel.Posted Sep 10, 2013
Nice and clean, great view from the bar on the roof. Shame the price to go in the private beach is so high. €32 to use the sun lounger in August is painful. Especially if you're a guest at the hotel. Aside from that it's nice - if a bit pricey.

A lovely clean and friendly hotelPosted Aug 25, 2013
Pros: Its location, everything you needed close by. Its excellent cleaning staff. The small pool on the roof top, as it never got overcrowded.
Cons: Staff to know more on the cheaper options of getting about, e.g all day transport ticket to use on the train & bus. Advanced notice of local tax.
Location: The beach is opposite, a bank, chemist, shops & good restaurants close by.
Me & my family had a wonderful stay in the hotel Panorama. It was very clean & the staff were helpful & spoke very good English. We had a family room with two bedrooms of which over looked the sea, this was a spectacular view of Maiori bay. The breakfast on the roof terraced was amazing. Lots of choice & very appetizing. We explored by using local transport as it was cheaper then excursions, the hotel helped us with this the best they could. We wouldn't recommend our room as peaceful though, It didn't really bother us, but the ice-cream shop next door, which is not part of the hotel played really loud music late at night.

Fantastic views/great locationPosted Aug 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
Stayed here for a week in August 2013 and had a great time. The hotel is in a great position for Pompei, Positano, Amalfi, Ravello and generally exploring the beautiful Amalfi coast. Very easy to get bus everywhere although we had to use taxi to get from Naples airport to hotel which cost 90 Euros each way. Hotel was very clean and efficient aircon in room (essential in August as it was extremely hot). Great roof terrace where you eat breakfast (good selection) with a small pool, both with great views. Bigger pool available around the corner which is with apartments and plenty of sun loungers/shades. Main negative was the road noise but we got used to it. Beach was disappointing but most are in Italy - totally packed with sunshades so you couldn't see the sun and very expensive - we didn't bother. Good selection of bars and restaurants within easy access and much cheaper than better known resorts. Some were there on All Inclusive but think it would be a terrible shame to miss out on all that Maiori has to offer with regard to eating and drinking. Would definitely recommend.

Great hotel in good location...Posted Aug 4, 2013
Pros: Comfortable, friendly and excellent reception staff
Cons: Pool on terrace is quite a small area, difficult sometimes to get a sunbed
Location: Excellent location next to the beach and good to use as a base for travelling round the Coast
The staff and service in hotel was good, reception staff very helpful and informative. Hotel is in good location especially to travel round other areas of Amalfi Coast. Rooms very spacious and housekeepers kept them clean at all times, always fresh towels and toiletries if needed. Breakfast was very good too, everything you wanted! We didn't have lunch or dinner in hotel but heard from other people staying there that it was always good quality. Would definitely recommend this hotel for future guests!
