Hotel Panorama MaioriPosted Jun 30, 2015
Cons: Renovate the remaining floors. Change the breakfast offerings a bit, offer more yogurt and varieties.
Nice location in town of Maiori. Not so busy, great beach with Panorama Hotel own beach access. Hotel renovated 4th floor only so far, we were on 3rd in family suite so little disappointed with the outdated décor but overall spacious room for Italian conditions. Nice terrace on the roof with beautiful views of Amalfi coast. Small swimming pool as well but Hotel own apartment complex and provides access for larger pool at the complex, the only minus is that pool closes at 18:00. The apartment complex also offers paid laundry machines for guests from Panorama hotel. Hotel has nice lobby and great view from the balconies. Housekeeping great no doubt here. Boat ride to Amalfi 15 minutes, Positano 30-40 minutes and Capri about 1.5-2 hours. We enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Panorama!Posted Jun 29, 2015
Just returned from a weeks holiday and this hotel is perfect from location to facilities. The room was excellent with a really comfortable bed and it was spotless. They do have their own bit of beach but you have to pay to sit there all day and it does get very crowded at the weekends. Plenty of restaurants to choose from in the town but a lot of the menus are the same. Overall a super holiday😎enjoy!

Nice hotel close to beach, local restaurants.Posted Jun 28, 2015
Pros: We thought room 409 on the forth floor was wonderful, balcony with full veiw of the sea and beach. Very clean.
Cons: Staff at breakfast and the roof bar could be more chearful.
Location: Location is great, very quite weekdays, easy access to other areas, nice promanade for evening walking, good beach facilitys.
We found this to be a very Italian family oriantated resort and gave you a true flavor or Italiy. Easy access to travel to other parts of the area by boat or bus. We found the staff at reception particullary helpful.

Superb hotel, with stunning views and food.Posted Jun 25, 2015
What a hotel, we were greeted by friendly receptionist Philamena. Although all the staff were so friendly throughout our stay. She said we had booked with Expedia and had been upgraded to a superior room. We had paid for a sea view but had expected such a wonderful view across the bay. The room was immaculate with a queen size bed, fridge, safe and Sky TV. The bathroom was beautiful to with large mirror and more than adequate lighting. The balcony had two chairs to take in the wonderful views. You could lay in bed and wake up with the view through very tall French doors. There was no street noise due to the double glazing, but Maiori is quiet a cultured place anyway. The breakfast was excellent with coffee to die for and a view across the bay. We cannot speak highly enough of the hotel and staff. The food is excellent in the restraint, we paid €30 for two mains and a bottle of wine. It was like living the dream to call such a wonderful place "home" for a week.

AmazingPosted Jun 22, 2015
Pros: The location was stunning. The rooms were very clean and the view was amazing.
Cons: A clock in the room would be helpful.
Location: The location is very good right in the middle of the beach, although you have to pay for the beach it was actually too hot to sit on the beach.
Having never been to the Amalfi Coast before I was stunned by the surroundings, it was stunning. I could not stop looking at the coast, every time you looked out you saw something different. The hotel was even more than we expected. All the staff were very pleasant ad always helpful. They even supplied a courtesy room for your late flight, although it was in an apartment behind the hotel but that did not matter it was the thought that counts.

Great hotel in a great areaPosted Jun 15, 2015
We stayed 5 nights at Hotel panorama and were sorry to leave. We stayed in The family room, it was spacious, clean, well equipped with a wonderful sea view, loved the evenings on the balcony watching the locals stroll and the twinkling lights of hilltop homes...picture perfect! ! All the staff we dealt with were very helpful and kind in answering any questions we had in regards to directions, transport etc... if you are looking at the on line pictures of the hotel, they are accurate to what you will actually see. I was very impressed with how well the staff spoke english and was embarrassed that I didnt learn italian a little better. Maiori is a perfect location for all sightseeing, but is less touristy than amalfi or positano, and for us at least, it gave us a feel for the people and the life. I would highly recommended this hotel and will stay here again. This was my first trip to Italy, and I must say the coast is like a little piece of heaven. Grazie mille, to all the staff at the hotel!!
