Hotel agreable

Posted Aug 1, 2015

Bellisimo!

Posted Jul 27, 2015
Pros: We loved the location of the hotel and would recommend a sea view room. The staff were very efficient and helpful, especially those on the front desk.
Cons: Continuation of recent refurbishment to all floors.
Location: Excellent sea front location, with travel amenities to other resorts by bus or boat nearby. variety of wonderful restaurants to experience.
Ww have stayed in Maiori before but the first time in Hotel Panorama. We loved this hotel from start to finish. It is spotlessly clean, and very friendly and helpful staff. The pool on the rooftop is small, but adequate to cool down from the piercing heat. Would thoroughly recommend trying the lunch on the terrace as quality of food was excellent. We e-mailed the hotel prior to arrival to arrange transport to and from Naples Airport, which was answered and delivered effectively at a cost of 90 euro each way.

Lovely hotel, great location, helpful staff

Posted Jul 9, 2015
Pros: Pleasant atmosphere, staff helpful and friendly, great location, good facilties.
Cons: Hard beds!
Location: Location was fantastic, right in the centre of Maiori and on the sea front. Lots of lovely restaurants and bars within a few yards of the hotel door.
The hotel itself is a little old and so the facilities are not all brand new, however this does not detract at all from the experience of staying there. The hotel is facing the beach (it has it's own private section for hotel guests) plus a rooftop pool and restaurant that are lovely. All the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The food was great, breakfast is a buffet style but good quality and a very good selection. Our room had a sea view and was very spacious and clean. The bed was a little bit hard but that is quite common in Europe. Overall we were very impressed and would highly recommend.

Beach front hotel with a gorgeous view

Posted Jul 6, 2015
Pros: The staff were friendly and gave us a free upgrade as it was our anniversary. A particular young lady was so helpful.
This hotel has the perfect location on the amalfi Coast. You can drive easily down the coast from this point or chill out on the beach located across the road

Be careful of any 'upgrade' offer

Posted Jul 6, 2015
Pros: If you can get a room in the Hotel Panorama then the location is nice and the room is modern.
Cons: Stop overbooking the hotel and misleading people to move to the cheap apartment block.
Location: Definitely get the ferry to Amalfi Town for good food at Marina Grande, and there are some amazing gelati/chocolate stores to also check out.
Our friends organised a wedding in Maori, and they recommended everyone stay in Hotel Panorama. When we arrived at 9am on Saturday 28 June to check in, they told us the room was not ready. When we came back in the afternoon, they told us that they were 'upgrading' us to an apartment room, with a kitchen that was '50 metres' from Hotel Panorama. My husband was a bit suspicous but they insisted that it was an 'upgrade'. I was tired, so we agreed to move for one night. It was not an upgrade at all. Yes, there is a kitchen, but the feel of the apartment blocks is very dorm-room style budget. It is not at all good value for money. Do not be fooled into agreeing to be relocated. The next night we complained and were put back in Hotel Panorama. The room was so much nicer. It is such a con-job to send foreign visitors over to the other hotel. I felt sorry for a lot of the wedding guests who did not insist on being moved back because they were told it was an upgrade. A lot of these visitors had travelled all the way from Australia and America, and this was their first time to Amalfi Coast. They were fooled into thinking it was an upgrade. I noticed that there were big bus loads of visitors, so my theory is that they give priority to these tours, and overbook the hotel, banking on the fact that some nice foreign tourists will agree to be moved but still be charged for the rate at Hotel Panorama, when the other apartment hotel is at best a 2 star by international standards.

Lovely hotel, excellent location.

Posted Jul 5, 2015
Pros: Everything about the hotel was positive. The staff were most helpful. All were professional and helpful.
Cons: Nothing could be improved . We had a fabulous two week holiday.
Location: The hotel location was excellent. It was close to great places to eat and shop, bus and ferry sites. There was a supermarket next door.
Hotel Panorama was everything we wanted in a hotel and then more! The rooms were very clean and large. There was an additional twin bed in most if not all rooms. All the staff (housekeeping, front desk, breakfast area) were all very professional and most helpful. The pool was always maintained. The location of the hotel was excellent. It was very close to fabulous restaurants and shopping areas. The bus stop and small marina was just a short walk away from the hotel. The connectivity to other towns was easy. Arrangements to travel to Capri and Pompei was readily available.

Very nice hotel in a beautiful area by the sea.

Posted Jul 2, 2015
Pros: It was well located and very clean and comfortable with a beautiful view from our balcony.
Cons: Being on the 4th floor we sometimes woke up in the early morning due to noise from tables or chairs being moved around in the top-floor restaurant.
Location: We took a boat from Minori to Capri, which was a wonderful tour. Amalfi is close but Sorrento is only 30 + km away although it takes1,5 hours by bus.
We stayed at the hotel Panorama from June 1 to 8, 2015. It was a very pleasant stay in a nice clean room with a sea-view. The hotel room was recently renovated and nicely equipped with a refrigerator, TV and air conditioning. We had very good breakfast in a beautiful roof top restaurant with superb view of the sea and the nice surroundings. There was also a handy sun-bathing facility with a small pool on the roof top. The staff was especially helpful and nice with good knowledge of English. The hotel was well located in a little friendly village, Maiori, not too far from Minori, which could be easily reached by bus or taxi. Walking between those villages was, however, somewhat difficult as you partly had to follow the main road with somewhat heavy traffic as there was no walking path. There were good restaurants close to the hotel although their number was somewhat limited. We were very happy with our stay at the Panorama and would be happy to go there again.
