“Extraordinarily surprised at how nice this was!”

Easy to find, great parking, superb staff, gorgeous room with a gorgeous view, reasonably priced (we went in "shoulder" season--mid-May. The hotel is beautifully appointed and has a spectacular rooftop bar and pool. I couldn't have been more pleased--especially for the price! The only drawback...Maiori is pretty boring in the off season, but still, for what we paid, an EXCELLENT value.

“Beautiful view!”

The view from the ocean side room was amazing! Very friendly and helpful staff. The pillows were a little hard and the coffee not so good but everything else was above our expectations. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Maiori.

“Great Location and Views”

The Hotel Panorama is across the street from a beautiful ocean-front promenade and beach. It's perfect for walks, strolls, and beach activities. Maiori is small and charming. The Hotel Panorama is next to the center of town without being too noisy or busy. Very convenient for local busses to Amalfi, Ravello and Salerno. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and courteous.

“One of the best values on the Almolfi Coast”

The hotel has spectacular views and a great morning breakfast on the Roof top. The rooms are very clean with large balconies over looking amazing views. The beds are very European and are harder than most Americans are use to. Overall it was top notch. Best place to eat and hang out is a place called Tony's that is 100 feet to the East. Great people and incredible food.

“On the Beach”

As the last stop on our 16 day trip through Italy, this was the perfect place to end a fantastic vacation. We really needed to sit on the beach. The hotel was clean and in a great location. There are few accessible beaches along the Amalfi Coast. So here are a few of the downsides, or things you might think are downsides: the beach is across the street so ocean view rooms overlook the main road which can be quite noisy during high travel times, bu the view is worth it; the hotel sopts on the beach are not the closest to the water; you get packed onto the beach so you get to know your neighbors. This seems to be a popular vacation spot for Italians and they didn't seem too pleased to have Americans crashing their party. Here are the good things: the area is generally inexpensive, the beach is great, the hotel was clean and the a/c was in great working condition, it's almost all Europeans, they had puppet shows and stuff for kids to do in the evening. Very family friendly and the hotel breakfast was nice. Rooms were HUGE! Plenty of restaurants to walk to.

“Great spot in Maiori”

Hotel is in great location. Very clean. Enjoyed walking in town, the beach, and hotel pool. Would definitely go back again. The town of Amalfi was too crowded, this town was perfect.

“Good location for area”

Stayed in rooms fronting Sea. Beds were hard and air con turned off at midnite. Staff was helpful and most could help in English. Breakfast buffet was okay to start the day. Our rooms were in good shape, but when air went off at midnite it got hot. Several good rest just south of hotel and Nettuno at the south end was worth the walk. Only ate breakfast at hotel, many options in and near Maiori for food.

“Basic accommodations for a good price”

We had a sea view room which had a great balcony looking right out to the water which was fantastic. There was road noise though which we were ok with but I can see how others may have issues. The air conditioning didn't really work and would shut off during the night - luckily we didn't really need it but would've been nice on one or two nights. Unfortunately the room had two twin beds to make up a king. Breakfast was good, again it was basic - eggs, bacon, sausage, croissants, toast, yogurt, cereal.. and eating on the roof terrace was nice so you could enjoy the views. If you are looking for just a place to stay and not planning on being in the room much then this place will be just fine. The hotel lobby was really nice but unfortunately went unused. The staff was very friendly and willing to give you any information that you needed. If you are looking for comfort and luxuries then I'd spend a little extra and go elsewhere.

“A Decent Stay in Maiori”

Overall, we were satisfied with our stay at the Panorama, though the hotel staff are far from friendly. Do not expect them to go out of their way to help you at all. If you want to use the beach, you will have to pay a fee, and they will assign you a beach chair with a good view or a bad view depending on their mood or how much they like you. This was very confusing and frustrating. However, the beach was very nice once we were there. Our room was large and clean and had a great view, though the beds were extreamly hard and the air conditioning did not work very well.

“Good hotel”

The first room they gave us had a really bad smell, and they did not change it till the next day, we were also surprised that we had to pay 15 euros/day as parking fees, while you can find a parking near the hotel where they charge 10 euros/day. You also have to pay 8 euros/person to access the beach. On the other hand breakfast was really good and the view from the hotel was really nice.
