Far from main areaPosted Oct 17, 2013
Pros: The view from my room. But as I mentioned you have to request a room with partial or full view of the sea and be willing to pay the premium.
Cons: The pillows. The lack of staff.
Location: The location is far from the main area. You do have restaurants near by.
The hotel is situated at the top of the main city which makes it difficult to get to by foot. Do not recommend it if you are not ready to walk down to the village or climb up to your hotel. You can access it by bus or car but who wants to do that on vacation? If you get a room with partial or full view of the sea then the view is breathtaking. The staff is scarce in the dining area. Several times I had to wait until someone showed up to order something. The pillows are hard as rock to the point where I woke up with a throbbing jaw.

Good locationPosted Aug 30, 2013
Cons: Food can definitely be improved and also something needs to be done to improve the bathroom.
Location is ok but the room cleanliness was not high standard. The bathrooms were very small and you can barely enter the shower. The food was very average.

Great viewsPosted Aug 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
Loved it, though the single bed definitely not designed for adults! Short and narrow. Views were fantastic and Daniella on reception very welcoming and helpful. Clean.

The pictures don't do it justicePosted Aug 18, 2013
Pros: The location, as we could see the mountains and the ocean. It was a glorious view every day, I was in awe.
Cons: The few times we were in relaxing, there are no comfy chairs in the room
Location: Positano is stunning to see, built into the hillsides as it is. Never had a bad meal, and it's small enough you can walk everywhere.
The staff here was great. Any glitches were addressed quickly and clearly, but those were minimal.

STRANGE PLACEPosted Aug 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel Posa Posa was like a ghost hotel. Rarely was anyone at the check in desk because this hotel has a significant number of rooms devoted to long-term residents. No one was in the restaurant. No one was at the "plunge" pool, no information regarding schedules or tourist information that was needed was available in the room, the wi-fi rarely worked. However, it is in a lovely location.

Great hotel and the friendliest people, stayed a few times now and wouldn't consider any other place. Local bus right out front makes it easy to get to the bottom.

very whateverPosted Jul 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
A friend of my husband who is from Italy recommended this place, When we first arrived the reception was very nice, we were immediately "upgraded" to a room that is literally in the mountain, room 601. The mountain enters the room and is along the wall of the entire bathroom its actually creepy and gross. Along with this the mountain provides a very strong stench which my husband and I could not handle. We asked to change rooms which we did after 1 night and when we got the downgrade we were happy to be in a normal room, the rooms are small as everything in Europe is compared to the US. There is a breakfast which is horrible. The only good thing I can say about this place is that its literally right next to a bus stop. And Daniella is very friendly at the front desk. Additionally we went in a very peak season and it was quite expensive.

Disappointed with the poolPosted Jun 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
A great hotel, but disappointed of the size of the pool which was more like a spa bath. No sun in pool area early afternoon onwards. A little disappointing but great location.
