“Perfect Location & Very Nice Service”
I stayed in this hotel for four nights with a friend, to attend another friend's wedding. To say this hotel is perfectly located is an understatement. It is directly across from the main beach area in Amalfi, along with the SITA bus stop, and around the corner from the main piazza and Duomo. It is a 3 minute walk to the main ferry pier.
The hotel itself is lovely. When you enter, it doesn't look like much, but then you go up to the 'first' floor, and the elevator opens into a lovely foyer, complete with art & antiques. The dining room and terrace where breakfast is served also has ornate details & chandeliers. The breakfast isn't amazing, except for the fresh pastries and the ability to order a cappuccino! Our room wasn't big, but it was very comfortable, extremely clean and had a little balcony with a view of the mediterranean - ahhh.
I can't review the hotel, though, without mentioning the service. Absolutely everybody we dealt with here, from the front desk and concierge attendants, to the dining room staff, to the cleaning staff, were unbelievably helpful and friendly. One night, we asked a question to the overnight front desk attendant that he didn't know, so he had the main front desk attendant in the morning come find us while we were eating breakfast in the dining room, to make sure we had the information we needed. Great service. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone, and I would stay here again.
