“MORE THAN SATISFIED”

GREAT LOCATION VERY NEAR THE MAIN PIAZZA, BUS STOPS AND FERRY TERMINALS. FRIENDLY AND EXTREMELY HELPFUL STAFF - NOTHING TOO MUCH TROUBLE. IMMACULATELY CLEAN. AND THAT TERRACE!!! ONLY VERY SLIGHT COMPLAINT IS THAT THE BREAKFAST COULD HAVE BEEN A BIT MORE IMAGINATIVE, BUT EVERYTHING ELSE WAS PERFECT SO WE WERE MORE THAN HAPPY.

“Perfect Location & Very Nice Service”

I stayed in this hotel for four nights with a friend, to attend another friend's wedding. To say this hotel is perfectly located is an understatement. It is directly across from the main beach area in Amalfi, along with the SITA bus stop, and around the corner from the main piazza and Duomo. It is a 3 minute walk to the main ferry pier. The hotel itself is lovely. When you enter, it doesn't look like much, but then you go up to the 'first' floor, and the elevator opens into a lovely foyer, complete with art & antiques. The dining room and terrace where breakfast is served also has ornate details & chandeliers. The breakfast isn't amazing, except for the fresh pastries and the ability to order a cappuccino! Our room wasn't big, but it was very comfortable, extremely clean and had a little balcony with a view of the mediterranean - ahhh. I can't review the hotel, though, without mentioning the service. Absolutely everybody we dealt with here, from the front desk and concierge attendants, to the dining room staff, to the cleaning staff, were unbelievably helpful and friendly. One night, we asked a question to the overnight front desk attendant that he didn't know, so he had the main front desk attendant in the morning come find us while we were eating breakfast in the dining room, to make sure we had the information we needed. Great service. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone, and I would stay here again.

“perfect!”

I think it has the best location in Amalfi... good size rooms for Italy, with balcony and excellent sound proofing. Free internet a bonus, and valet parking was a breeze. Very safe and secure, friendly and comfortable.

“Beautiful hotel”

Staff were extremely helpful, especially Claudio ans were always polite and friendly. The rooms were all decorated individually and beautifully which had been done earlier this year and they were immaculate. The only problem was that they were quite noisy because of the central location,but this was not too bad. The rooms were also quite hot at times. The breakfasts were good although it would have been nice if there was a greater variety at times. All in all an excellent hotel.

hotel residence is in the center of amalfi alone the bay, beautiful view, recently renovated room is clean with balcony, comfortable bed. not much in the breakfast buffet. expansive valet parking.

“A very good hotel made excellent by its friendly helpful staff”

We spent a great week at this hotel. As it is opposite the bus terminus and ferry stops, it makes a good base for exploring Ravello, Positano and other Amalfi Coast towns. Breakfast on the pretty terrace was a treat, with a good range of food options. Our bedroom was smart, spacious and clean. We had a view of the sea and the street - plenty of opportunity to watch the world go by. We cannot speak highly enough of the staff, who were all amazingly helpful and cheerful. They were eager to help with advice about travel and excursions and were delighted to make arrangements on our behalf when necessary.

A great clean comfy hotel right on the sea front. All of the staff were very helpful. It has no restaurant service in the evening but there are plenty of places to eat so it is really not a problem.

“An excellent small hotel in a great location”

A lovely hotel in a terrific location. It was beautifully restored a few years ago and is still very smart and tastefully furnished. Our rooms were cool and quiet and the beds large and comfortable. The bathrooms are very modern and the massage showers quite invigorating! Breakfast's not bad - yoghurts, cereal, meat and cheese, tinned fruit, croissants and pastries, toast etc - but the sunny terrace overlooking the sea makes it delightful. There's free wifi throughout the hotel. Being right on the sea front it's just opposite the bus stop for Ravello and not much further from where the other buses and coaches park and from the harbour with boat services to Positano, Capri etc. There are plenty of good restaurants within a few minutes walk and Amalfi's splendid Duomo is just round the corner. Unless you need a swimming pool I reckon it's the ideal place from which to explore the Amalfi coast.

“Great hotel, great location, not so great breakfast”

The room was spacious, clean and new. The bathroom was superb, with a large shower with many shower heads and functions. Our TV did not work but the concierge was very helpful. The location is superb, right on the main street, in the middle of town. The staff were very helpful. The only let down was the breakfast. For such an expensive hotel, the food was ordinary and there's was no hot food served. The food options were minimal and basic.
