“San Pietro - Maiori”

Excellent warm welcome, first class accomodation and small touches such as clean towels every day made our stay very comfortable. Standard of food was exceptional with Maitre'd organising gluten/wheat free dishes for every course and at every meal. Even with several large coach parties staying, we were not overlooked at all. The waiting staff gave us 4 sumptious courses every evening in a relaxed and convivial manner. Another plus was the excellent pool, immaculate and warm, it was a great joy to slip into at the end of long days sightseeing. Would recommend for families, couples and also the elderley as good facilities in situ. All in all, the San Pietro is a fabulous family run business that really does put it's customers first.

“Great hotel, unfortunately a bit of a walk in town”

Happy with the hotel staff, cleanliness although it was a 15 minute walk into town and the beach. Next time would stay closer to the beach.

“A good and clean hotel.”

The hotel were very obliging and arranged for a taxi to pick us up at Naples airport for a very reasonable fare (100 euros for transporting 4 people). The foyer is attractive and there's a swimming pool - you have to wear a swim cap to use it, but you can buy one at the hotel desk (0.5 euros). The rooms were lovely and had air-conditioning as well as an old-fashioned colonial-type fan on the ceiling which was a nice alternative. The bathroom was clean and beautifully equipped - quite the best I've experienced anywhere. The one drawback is that the food is not great - the breakfast in the morning was quite poor in standard, the coffee being like liquorice and the croissants sometimes a little stale. Also, the hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the main boulevards and beach, which is okay, except the pavements are very uneven and soiled. In fact, there was quite a lot of litter about which I found surprising. But overall we had a terrific week staying here (bar the breakfasts!).
