Great hotel-highly recommended

Lovely place to stay-rooms very well furnished and impeccably clean. Parking is off-site as parking spaces are very limited in amalfi. Highly recommended.

Great find with excellent service

Loved Villa Annalara! The staff were really friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms were clean, well fitted out and contained everything we needed. Overall 9/10 and highly recommended.

Beautiful view from outside terrace. There is only one "sea view" room.

Posted Sep 22, 2010
The location of the hotel is excellent, however we paid for, and did not get, a "sea view"room. We were told that there was a problem with the plumbing in the room we were supposed to have. Actually it was occupied. The following night we were put in a "delluxe' room, facing the sea with a skylight and 12 inch window on the floor. (no sea view) When we checked out, we were not compensated for the night we were in the "garden view "room, or for the fact that there was no "sea view". we were then told all the rooms were deluxe. The people who attended in the mornings with breakfast were very nice, but not honst about the room situations, which affected most of the guest while we were there. We felt very mislead for the money they charged.

Beautiful hotel

This bed and breakfast was one of the best hotels we've stayed in. Perched high above the beautiful town of Amalfi, the room was modern and large. Beautiful bathroom, comfortable bed. Breakfast wasn't as good as we expected, but there was nice coffee and it was a pleasure to eat on the large terrace overlooking the city and out to the beach.

a relaxing stay

Posted Sep 12, 2008
we enjoyed our visit very much but, it was sometimes frustrating when no one appeared to be available to answer queries during the day. on the whole the staff was helpful and polite. the hotel is not suitable for anyone with a disablility as there are a number of steps.
