Amazing viewsPosted Oct 9, 2014
Pros: Views, location, extremely clean, nice variety of food from menus, peaceful.
Cons: Front desk staff needs to be more attentive to their guests!
Location: Amazing location. Easy access to piazza, beaches, shopping and amazing restaurants.
The hotel has amazing views with a great location. Very romantic and peaceful. It was extremely clean. The food was amazing however a little pricey. The staff at restaurant was extremely polite and friendly however the front desk staff was not overly friendly. Considering it was the most expensive hotel we stayed in during our stay on the Amalfi coast it was a little disappointing.

Stunning!Posted Sep 2, 2014
Stayed 4 nights in August 2014. It is a beautiful hotel in a gorgeous place with stunning views. My room was lovely (in the annex) and the food was delicious. I was travelling on my own and found the staff very friendly, approachable and helpful. I'd love to go back again some day - that says it all, as I don't often revisit places as there is so much to do & see in the world.

Best view in PositanoPosted Jul 28, 2014
Great hotel with wonderful staff and owners. The food is fantastic. Dining is overseen by the ever watchful Franco. The bar in the evening is maned by Andrea, who makes some of the best cocktails we have had the pleasure to drink. The pool has the best position in Positano to take in the fantastic views. Thanks to everyone at HVF for a great stay!

Exceeded expectations!Posted Jul 24, 2014 on Hotels.com
The pictures on the website really didn't do it enough justice! I loved the decor and the views are outstanding with the hotel being sat at the very top of the mountain - by far the very best and we ate and had drinks at neighbouring restaurants and hotels. Only negative comment would be that the complimentary wifi didn't work in he basement rooms - however easily forgiven! Highly recommended!

Very nice hotel with amazing views over Positano!Posted Jul 7, 2014
Great hotel nestled atop the hill with breathtaking views over Positano! Staff were very nice and accommodating. We stayed on a half board basis and dinner was excellent at the restaurant. A lot of non hotel guest choose to dine there also which is always a good reflection. Overall a great experience!

Amazing Hotel & Staff - Highly RecommendedPosted Jun 5, 2014
Pros: Everything was amazing,
Cons: The only draw back we found was the Free Hotel WiFi was very weak in our room, and had issues during the day. Common areas seemed to work better.
Location: We rented a small car called a TWIZY for 15 Euro an hour, we drove up the Amalfi coast and did some sight seeing. I would highly recommend.
We stayed at the Hotel Villa Franca from May 26th-29th 2014. This place was amazing. Great service, Antonio was fantastic. We had a beautiful room with nigh patio facing the ocean. The rooms were very clean and were cleaned with fresh towels twice a day. The hotel is at the Top of the Hill, you can walk up the gradual sloped road all the way to the top or take the road and stairs. 279 steps, I counted..... Or you can take the free hotel shuttle to and from the bottom of Positano to the top. We highly recommend you eat at least one meal in the Hotel Restaurant, it was amazing. You can also watch your meals being prepared by the Chefs on the Big Screen TV. The view from the Restaurant is beautiful. Breakfast was included with our package and had a great selection of pastries, deserts, yogurts, eggs, bacon etc.... A great way to start our day. All in all, I would highly recommend Hotel Villa Franca Nate

Great location, fantastic honeymoonPosted May 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
We stayed here for our honeymoon around Europe during April and loved it! The location is great, not too far from the main central area - the beach. There is a shuttle bus that is available for guests to go down to the beach area. The staff are lovely and the breakfast is just enough to start the day. Wifi is free however it's only available for 45 mins and given as a coupon with a password, so it's a bit of a hassle to obtain a new coupon once it expires. Of all the hotels we looked at, this place looks like the most modern and doesn't have that old school Italian decor you find in most hotels.
