Very nice staff!Posted Oct 31, 2013
We only stayed one night at this hotel but we very much enjoyed our stay. Especially, we thought the staff were lovely. The room had everything we needed and was very clean, comfortable and quiet. We did hear neighbors in the corridor but did not hear them once they went into their room and did not hear outside noise at all. Breakfast was much like other tourist hotels, but with a very nice presentation and some extra choices such as fruit, which we really appreciated. Our only wee little problem was that the wifi didn't work at all, even in the lobby. The staff thought it was a general local problem but we did get wifi perfectly at another location not far from the hotel. However, that was a very small issue in a very nice, comfortable and welcoming place. We can't say enough about the staff, particularly Antonella, who went out of her way to help us with everything.

Excellent value in great locationPosted Oct 30, 2013
Pros: Staff friendliness and helpfulness.
Location: Walks, shopping, history
This hotel was probabably the best value hotel we stayed in in italy. The staff were very genuine, friendly and helpful. Location is great just off main street. Good breakfast, rooftop terrace and large room with spa bath. Very clean and comfortable and with good inernet. Hotel even offers free weekly program of guided walks with local guides in Amalfi and surrounding towns. A very wel run hotel and great value.

Wonderful Hotel in AmalfiPosted Oct 28, 2013
Pros: Everything - it's a quality property well located and operated by people who will stop at nothing to ensure your comfort.
Cons: Nothing - it's perfect.
Location: Amalfi is a very interesting village. An inspection of the Duomo is a must and hints at the importance of this town over the centuries. Ravello a must
We recently spent 4 days in this beautiful part of Italy. The staff at Antico Convitto could not have done more to help us. From organising the airport pick up with Sergio who was an excellent driver and a lovely man, to having Eduardo take our bags up to the room! The room itself was first class - a colour scheme of Amalfi blue and yellow, plenty of space and a great spa (which we needed after all our walking). The walk from Ravello down to Amalfi was sensational. Thank you Gabriella, Antonella and Teresa for your friendliness and professional service.

Great small hotel, friendly staffPosted Oct 19, 2013
Pros: Great staff, very helpful. Comfortable and excellent value for money
Cons: Rooms can be a little stuffy - a fan would be good when it is hot.
Location: Great location, day trips to Capri or the other towns are easy to do.
Fantastic little hotel and great value for money. The staff were very friendly and helpful, booked us tours, suggested restaurants and booked cars for us. Overall, they were very lovely and genuinely seemed interested in helping the guests. Room was comfortable (we had a triple, with double bed and single), bathroom clean, the room could get a little stuffy at times - a fan would be good, but otherwise good. Breakfast was great, good coffee and a good choice available each day. Location is excellent, just off the main piazza. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

L'Antico Convitto ReviewPosted Oct 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
I thought this was the most wonderful hotel that I stayed in our visit to Italy. The attendent Antonella was a gracious host. I think Antonella is a great asset to your hotel. The breakfast attendent was also so very nice. I would not say these things if I didn't mean it.....also you have to go up to the roof to have breakfast and look over the city and view of the sea.Thank you for a wonderful time at your hotel.

Highly recommend Great hotel in AmalfiPosted Oct 11, 2013
Pros: Staff service (best in Iraly). Breakfeast, location, free tours, cleanliness.
Cons: Parking was not included so was an extra cost, although we were made aware of this before getting to hotel. The master bed was way too hard.
Location: Excelent, 5 min from major bus stop. Supermarket, restaurants and shops right near hotel. The Grotta Smeralda, Ravello and Lemon Farm.
Outstanding service from even bofore getting to the hotel. They made ontact with us as soon as we book to give ust detail of location and parking. The lady on reception on our day of arrival was outstanding, she arrange complimentary tours of the area for us, told us how to get to major attractions, gave us map of the area. The rooms were clean and well kept, the breakfeast included was the best we had anywhere in Italy. Located centrally and very close to all facilities and attraction. We are a family of 5 and the room size was very comfortable.

Convenient hotel for short stay in Amalfi.Posted Oct 3, 2013
Pros: The helpful staff, and central location.
Cons: The roof terrace could be made more inviting and comfortable.
Location: Central location in Amalfi town, with many shops, restaurants and beaches . Great for walking and ideal place to hire a scooter .
The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming, going out of their way to repair a shoe for us . The breakfast was simple but with adequate choice , and the Room and Bathroom was clean and sparsely decorated. The Hotel is located very centrally in Amalfi town and our room was quiet. It was ideal for a one or two night stopover in the over- touristed town of Amalfi.
