It felt like home in heavenPosted Aug 18, 2014
The cleanliness and friendly staff made me and my family feel at ease when we arrived. They went out of their way to help and give advice. High of our Amalfi tour.

Location: Close to shopping and restaurants without the tourist like feel.
Excellent accommodations. Located in a quaint fishing village with wonderful restaurants. Hotel is clean and well maintained. Pena and her mother made us feel like family.

Lovely seaside place to stayPosted Apr 26, 2014 on Hotels.com
This hotel is at the bottom of a steep road into the cove by Praiano. Our initial impression was not great, as you check in at the tiny restaurant on the side of the cliff - but in fact the rooms are in a building a short walk away down a steep ramp and up a flight of steps on the other side of the cove. The exterior is 1970s in appearance, but the room was a lovely surprise - very newly done, fresh, clean, and very prettily decorated. It had a balcony and view down onto the sea. The bathroom was spotless with an excellent shower. There were some unexpected niceties, such as reading lights over the bed and - the only place I've seen this in Italy - a socket taking both European and English plugs. We ate the first night in their little restaurant, where Grandma does the cooking - the food was absolutely delicious and very reasonable, as was the wine. We ate in one of the other beach front places the second night, and wished we'd returned to the hotel one, which was better. The rooms are set literally a stone's throw from the water, in a gorgeous little cove. We were unlucky with the weather so unable to swim, but there are lovely walks round the edge of the cliff to other eateries and up steep steps to the village itself. Parking by the hour there is expensive, but the hotel owner comes to an arrangement with the permanently fixed traffic guy, and we paid 10 euros for 24 hours, In all, a nice place to stay to visit the Amalfi coast and be close to the water.

Great hotelPosted Sep 3, 2013
Great hotel close to Marina de Praia beach. Good included breakfast with crossaints freshly made by Nonna. A little off the beaten path, but worthwhile if you're looking for a nice place near the beach at a reasonable price.

Fantastic areaPosted May 25, 2012 on Hotels.com
Very friendly hostess, Supena. Great breakfast baked fresh, prepared by her Momma. Loud Italian talking until 2 a.m. 1st night. Told hostess, moved us up to penthouse at no extra charge. Hard to find on the Amalfi coast road, don't try it at night unless you know where you're going. Other than that, very quaint hotel to stay at, plus you can't beat the price.
