Beautiful locationPosted Aug 10, 2014
We fell in love with Atrani. The local restaurants were amazing. A quieter destination than Amalfi, and Atrani had it's own charm. The steps up to the hotel were a challenge at the end of a day's excursions but we got used to it soon enough. Would definitely come back again.

Best point to explore the Amalfi CoastPosted Jul 31, 2014
Pros: Staff, especially ladies in the reception. Very helpful...
Location: Try Ristaurante Palme right next to the hotel...
Very friendly staff, perfect location with 10 mimutes walk to Amalfi. Atrani is a small and cute village with a tiny Piazza where you can find great restaurants.

Nice hotel with exellent views and good location.Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: The Hotel has a beautiful location, with stunning views (from rooms advertised with panoramic sea view), hotel staff are all very friendly and helpfull
Cons: The room has an exellent large Plasma TV, but only italian TV. It may have been nice to have access to satelite TV, with some english news chanels.
Location: Atrani is a beautiful village, which has a good mix of local people and tourists, nice local restaurants, its own beach and good transport links
The Palazzo Ferraioli Hotel in Atrani , is an excellent place to base your holiday on the Amalfi Coast. The town of Atrani has a nice mix of local people and a small number of tourists, as opposed to some of the other towns on the Amalfi coast which are more touristy. It is a pleasantly quiet town, which has some nice local restaurants, and its own beach. It is also only 5 - 10 minutes walk from the town of Amalfi (through a tunnel in the mountain) which gives you easy access to all the facilities of the larger town. There are good transport links to the rest of the Amalfi Coast via Sita Busses from Atrani, or Ferries (my favourite way of travelling along the coast) from Amalfi. The Palazzo Ferraioli Hotel is a very pleasant hotel, rooms advertised with a panoramic view have a spectacular view over the village of Atrani out to the sea. My the Gina Lollobrigida room (all the rooms are named after actresses, was very large and came equipped with a large Plasma TV and a jacuzzi. Hotel staff are all very friendly and helpfull, and all waiting and reception staff speak english. The hotel also has a spa and treatment center however I didn't get a chance so sample any of the treatments.

Excellent Location and HotelPosted Jul 19, 2014
The view from the room was magnificent. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Don't valet the car, park it yourself in the under ground garage on the way to Amalfi.

A real gem !Posted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: The rooms were good, very clean, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The spa and massage were excellent.
Cons: All was good.
Location: Amalfi is 10 mins walk and is slightly more lively. Bus to Ravello and walk back. Boat to Positano is fun. Day trip to Pompeii and Vesuvio excellent!
Atrani is the most magical place. Palazzo Ferraioli is very contemporary in style. It has good sized rooms with modern bathrooms and all is clean and well maintained. The roof of the hotel is a terrace that you can sit out on, with amazing views of the sea and town in one direction and the hills in the other. We stayed for a week and really enjoyed it. The hotel had a spa and massage centre which my family loved! Atrani is a small place with a great atmosphere, not touristy at all. There is a small beach 5mins walk away. The hotel supply you with beach towels. In the evening locals and visitors, old and young, hang out in the small town square. There are several places to eat there, some cheap and cheerful, some slightly more upmarket, but they were all very welcoming and good value. Atrani is built on a mountain side, so not recommended unless you're ok with steps......lots of steps! The hotel staff had lots of local knowledge tips, and arranged day trips, taxi to airport and a packed breakfast when we made an early start. They were first rate.

Perfectly situated hotelPosted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was adequate enough. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Cons: I don't think anything could be improved on, it was perfect!
Location: Atrani is a small town with its own beach. Be aware that the cost to hire sunbeds and an umbrella increases in the summer months.
Although it wasn't the best hotel to find initially, I thought it was perfectly situated in Atrani along the Amalfi Coast. Just a short walk from Amalfi town itself. Bring a good pair of comfortable shoes as a lot of walking is involved up and down many steps!

Nice hotel in a small unspoilt town.Posted Jun 29, 2014
Pros: the hotel is clean and well decorated and the staff are very helpful.
Cons: Rear rooms
Location: See above
Atrani is a queit town within walking distance of the tourist centre of Amalfi. From Amalfi you can take boat trips along the Amalfi coast or bus trip to veiw the coast from the land. Atrani is the beach which many of the locals visit. On the square of Atrani there are a number of restaurants but for shopping you will need to go to Amalfi.

Fabulously restored one off hotelPosted Jun 17, 2014
Had a fabulous week at this hotel. The rooms are all individually decorated, very modern compared to surrounding buildings. Please be aware, there are 80 steps to climb to it, but so worth it. The views are breathtaking. Breakfast is boring, but adequately continental. Will definitely be going back here next year. The village it's in, Atrani, is amalfis best kept secret.. Walking distance to Amalfi village, but lovely and peaceful if you stay in the square. Best restaurant we found in Amalfi is La Palme at the bottom of the stairs. Please visit Salvatore there, you won't be disappointed.
