It is a very cozy place, perfect for a vacation.

Pros: The location, the clean rooms and friendly staff. The furniture are very stylish and well hand picked, piece by piece with Italian taste.
Cons: nothing, it is great.
Location: everything is right there, plenty of restaurants, the bus station, the boat, the stores, the little, cute streets, the piazza and the locals.
The location can not be better, just in the middle of everything. The restaurants are right there, the hotel is clean and cozy. The owner, Gerald is very friendly and willing to help with whatever you need. He is making you feel like home, preparing the breakfast and serving on the terrace from where you can see the piazza, the basilica and a little bit of the water. We had the room with the terrace and it was wonderful. Rita is there to be sure that the rooms are clean and everything in place. The hotel is located by the bus station from where you can go anywhere, also right there you can take a boat to Capri Island. We love it so much and for sure we will go back.

I scored a great deal on this hotel, because I got a single, small room for people of average height or shorter, and I was travelling on a budget!! Seriously, though. This place is pretty decent. The rooms you see on its website look great! My room was not profiled, but that's OK. Let me tell you about it. The room's width was about the size of a queen bed. Just enough room for a single bed that was could just fit someone who's 5'7" or 5'8". (If you're taller than that, get a bigger room, because you'll want the space, and the bigger bed.) My bed looked kind of like a chaise. Regardless, it was comfy. With the remaining space beside the bed, there's enough room to store two suitcases to line up with the wall. The TV was OK. It's kinda hard to watch this TV lying in the bed, because at that angle, the images on the screen get all dark and kind of disappear. But hey, I understand if you didn't come all the way to Amalfi to watch CNN International or the Italian version of "The Bold and the Beautiful." And if you did, there's nothing wrong with that, because I watched both and quite enjoyed them. The bathroom was totally fine. Despite the room's very small size, the bathroom wasn't that small (it wasn't huge either). It had just enough room without making you too claustrophobic. There's a window (that opens) in this room, but all you see is the building next door. You might hear some Italians singing English-language pop songs here sometimes. They're OK. And they don't do it late at night. The plumbing pipes also run along here, so when someone is finished his or her business, it does sound like a waterfall is running if you have the window open. No biggie. Then again, why not just close the window and enjoy your great A/C unit? Breakfast is from 8-10 AM. They have some delicious pastries (including an awesome lemon cake or pie of sorts); milk and cereal; juice; coffee/cappucino; yogurt; cheese; bread; and (I think it's) salami. As small as the room is, it does have a small closet to hang your stuff, and even a small fridge. The older fella who's there in the daytime is very friendly and welcoming. There's a younger dude in the late afternoon and evening who's also quite polite. The major downside to this room... Sometimes you can smell cigarette smoke in this room. And I had the window closed!! The Wi-Fi can be a bit slow. There are also lots of stairs leading up to this place. But as soon as I made a booking, one of the employees e-mailed me just wanting to make sure I was OK with the tiny room without a view, and all the stairs. I appreciated that, for sure! And the stairs won't matter too much if you end up with one of those two strapping lads whose job it is to drive people to the various hotels around Amalfi, and carry up your luggage. It will suck a little when you're hauling luggage downstairs and by yourself, though. The restaurant at the bottom of the stairs is pretty good. Sorry, I can't remember the name of it, but it's right next to the building's entrance. When you're leaving the building, this restaurant is on your left. They usually have the menu propped up there. If you leave the building, turn right, and then turn left, make sure to check out the gelato shop (A'Sciulia di De Vita Maria) a few metres away. It's good stuff!

Wonderful B&B in Amalfi. Location is perfect and service is beyond expectation. Andrea and his father treat you like family. Breakfast is good and the coffee is great. Good value for an expensive area.

Cons: Breakfast could be much nicer with only a Little bit more choice and freshness...
The poeple at the Hotel were very nice and helpful. The rooms are average but Price/Performance is o.k. for this very touristy Region. The rooms were clean, breakfast was rahter Basic.
