Some rooms do not have any view

Posted Jun 24, 2014
Pros: Very central, very clean and modern inside. Margot, the receptionist, was very efficient, friendly and informative.
Cons: The hotel description needs to be honest about the lack of views.
Location: Right in the centre of beautiful Amalfi. Naples, Pompeii and Vesuvius just over an hour's drive away.
Very nice bed and breakfast EXCEPT that the hotel description is not accurate. It says that all rooms have at least a view over Amalfi. However, our room was directly over the busy narrow main road. All we could see was a close up view of the building opposite.

Great B&B

Posted May 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
We spent two nights here, and enjoyed our stay. The room we had did not come with a view (except of the street below), but it was fine. The receptionist was extremely helpful and friendly, but not overbearing (like at some other B&Bs!) The room was fairly large, very clean, and comes with a mini fridge. The bathroom is particularly nice in this B&B, with a nice shower and plenty of towels (although they smelled a bit strange, like smoked ham?) The breakfast is served in your room, so there is a small table with two chairs inside the room. On top of the mini fridge, there was a small safe for your belongings, however, it was a bit peculiar that you do not set your own combination to lock the safe. Instead, you are given a key by reception (which maybe might not give the guest a feeling of utmost safety, since they could have a replica of the key--also, the safe was not bolted to anything, so theoritically, someone could simply pick it up and walk off with it). Overall, the stay was great, and the location was extremely convenient--steps away from the the center of town!
