Well worth consideringPosted Sep 10, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness, quiet, good food from restuarant, helpful staff.
Cons: I'd like a bigger shower cubicle and Skysports on my bedroon tv.
Location: I'd recommend you buy a paperback guidebook.
I spent 8 nights on holiday at VFR. I arrived later than planned due to horrendous weather around Naples. The staff were welcoming and polite without being over friendly (which I liked). They rustled up salmon ravioli which was excellent. I can also recommend their seafood linguine. The double room was spacious and very clean and comfortable. My only slight gripe was that the shower cubicle was fairly small. Breakfast was a pretty standard selection of breads, croissants, cereals, ham, cheese, yoghurt, fruit and the usual drinks. Once again that was fine by me as part of my holiday was to sample the delicious food in and around Amalfi, so had pretty good lunches and dinners and didn't want big breakfasts. The view from the terrace is quite beautiful especially by moonlight. The bed was comfortable and other facilities in the room were fine. The hotel staff were flexible at providing a shuttle service to the town centrewhen I wanted it. The centre is a 35 min walk from the hotel-mainly downhill going in and uphill on return, which could pose a problem if you overindulge or are not used to walking. All in all the hotel was good value for money and a good base for me to explore Amalfi/Capri/Positano, Furore/Salerno/Atrani and Ravello.

Brilliant Vacation At FelicePosted Jul 12, 2014 on Hotels.com
Me and my partner have just got back from a week staying in a double room here. After a bit of confusion getting to the hotel/villa we were amazed by the stunning views. Hotel staff are fantastic, helpful and try their hardest to male you as comfortable as possible. Continental breakfast every day was also fantastic. Free bus tickets and evening taxi to and from Amalfi was incredibly handy (too far to walk). Location is very quiet and secluded with a nearby pool if you want a day to vegetate. Would recommend to anyone seeking a relaxing break along the Amalfi Coast. Well worth a visit, thank you!!

Fantastic hotel with incredible views.Posted Oct 5, 2013
Pros: Superb views and exceptionally hard working and pleasant staff.
Location: Great quiet location, but close to town and transportation. Also, lots of terrific hiking, especially if you don't mind climbing stairs!
Villa Felice Relais is a beautiful little boutique hotel, with a gorgeous balconey and amazing views into Amalfi. The room was not large, but very comfortable and nicely appointed. The bathroom was also comfortable and spotlessly clean. We ate dinner both nights on the terrace and were satisfied with the food, though it would be nice to have a menu to select from with prices shown. The hotel is in a very quiet area, within a 20 minute downhill walk to Amalfi. The hotel does have a shuttle service which they offered us many times, but we preferred to walk. There is a beautiful pool at a nearby hotel (just across the street) and very good parking just around the corner. You felt that you could safely leave your car, and it wouldn't be smashed up when you went back to get it, as you were well in from the road. The breakfast was the very best we had in Italy. You could even squeeze your own juice in the morning! The best attribute of this hotel, though, is the staff. Maddalena, Roberto and Carmella all us feel like family, and we certainly hope to return one day.
