Hotel paradiso

Pros: room was clean and well equipped including extra towels for the pool (amazing) and beach. Tv free wifI, views across positano.
Location: perfect place to base yourselves to visit Capri, Sorrento, Amalfi, Pompeii. grocers shop nearby and bus stops. Lots of steps not suitable if not fit.
A gorgeous room with a beautiful view in the most stunning location. The staff were really helpful, kind and knowledgeable about local tours, transport and activities. This was a really great base to visit the amalfi Coast, naples, sorrento and pompeii.

We had a very great experienced staying at the villa. The Hotel stuff are very friendly. The location of the Villa was easy to find. The people were so friendly. Our room was big for 8 people and it had all the amenities we needed even washer/dryer was included. The view was the big plus! Especially the top floor of their swimming pool!

A fantastic hotel in a great location of Positano

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Everything, the location, the room with fantastic views of Positano, the infinity pool was amazing and so peaceful. Helpful cheerful hotel staff.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Lots of restaurants, shops and nice walks, easy to get to the beach, port and to take the Sita bus. A visit to Ravello is a must and the Amalfi.
We stayed in the Azzuro room with an amazing view of Positano with both terrace and sun loungers. The view from the bed by opening the doors was breathtaking I will never forget it. The infinity pool was fantastic and so peaceful a lovely way to finish off the day in the heat and sightseeing. The hotel staff were extremely helpful with any questions you asked and made us a restaurant booking which was great and also helped us with bus and ferry times. On our sad day of leaving the restaurant manager gave us two drawings of Positano by his brother which I will treasure with fond memories of a beautiful place. I can't wait to return....... Hopefully next year!

Peaceful,very comfortable,amazing views and staff!

Pros: Luxurious for a country-side hotel. Staff. Pool. Patio. Also, right across the street was a little grocery for wine, cheese, etc. There's a chef too
Cons: This is not America and there is a level of physical exertion that comes with visiting the Amalfi coast. I don't recommend renting a car either.
Location: Grocery with wine, cheese, charcuterie. Plenty of restaurants with great food. Close to Sita buses and Ferry (8 mins walk), beach is 8 minutes.
Suite was very quiet and comfortable with a luxurious garden/patio area all to ourselves. Overlooking the beautiful waters of the quaint and dramatically set town of Positano, we traveled at the very beginning of the season (early April so locally things were not in full swing yet and less crowded). If you are staying in Positano (my favorite of all the towns in the whole region), please realize that it is very steep and there is some level of physical exertion required to get around. Paula and her brothers, and Maria could not have made our stay more pleasant. We travelled from Rome to Salerno directly via the high speed train then took the ferry to Positano. This was a beautiful convenient option but dragging the suitcases up the steep Positano streets and steps were not fun (there's usually a car service for 15 Euros). I would call Maria ahead of time and ask her what's most convenient, as we saw golf carts that delivered the luggage to your hotel (we used the taxi). Maria's english is excellent and she can book anything you might need. Go directly to the beach if you want a ferry schedule, though online/ local newspapers seemed fairly accurate. Sita buses, the red tour buses, and the Circumvesuviana train schedules were usually accurate also. Though this hotel is not on the beach, it has an incredible pool area set high in the Positano cliffs. At night, the hotel staff can recommend restaurants and book reservations (they pick you up/drop you off).

I can't say enough how incredible our stay was here...I really didn't want to leave. The villas have the most incredible view and the room offers you everything you need - we settled in immediately. The private sun terrace is divine! I want to come back!
