“Very Friendly Staff”

Stayed 2 nights, at first the room they sent me to had not been read for a new occupant, the Host and Bell Hop were extremely apologetic and made arrangements for a different room. Very comfortable stay, quiet, clean and a very nice atmosphere. Would stay again no doubt! The only thing that would make it better would be a continental breakfast. TGIF next door was nice as well.

“Nice Hotel Near Downtown Amarillo”

This was a nice place. You could tell it was an older hotel that had been renovated, but they did a very good job. The rooms are very big and comfortable.

“A Good Place To Stay”

We've stayed at the Ambassador several times. We've always been able to get some kind of online special, making it a good value. I'm not sure it's worth full price for a standard room, but it's well worth it for the online specials when we can get them. The rooms are spacious, & we love the large atrium area that covers the pool. My 5-year old loves the indoor pool. The pool is average size, but there is plenty of seating area for parents. Location is convenient in the center of Amarillo & easy access to I-40.

This hotel put the pool and hot tub right in the middle with an atreum surrounding the area, it was wonderful. The glass elevator was a great touch of being connected with the rest of the hotel. From our room we had a wonderful view of the sky line. The staff was quick to respond to any request we had.

This hotel was outstanding for the money. We had a great stay here, i would especially recommend a trip to TGI Friday's restaurant which is onsite. The room was very spacious and clean.
