“Great downtown renovation”

It was a beautifully done renovation of an old building in downtown Amarillo. I felt safe as we walked to our party at the Amarillo Club.

“Found this hotel and now we won't be staying anywhere else!”

The room was great. The service was warm and welcoming. We loved the market area, the Internet access, and the books that are provided in the lobby. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We will be staying here every time we visit Amarillo from now on.

“Great hotel!”

The hotel room was fantastic! The breakfast was more than we expected even though you have to pay for it. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! There is a great wine bar across the street which has wonderful tapas, cheese and summer elk!

“Can't go wrong”

This hotel is a converted bank building. They have kept some of the charm of the old building and added freshness. It's a great hotel and will be my go to when in Amarillo.

“Beautiful Fun Hotel for a little romantic getaway”

This was a beautiful hotel! We loved how they embraced the character of the building and highlighted the history! The location was awesome and it was so nice not to have to DRIVE somewhere to have a drink. Very enjoyable and we will stay there again!

“Great hotel but watch what room you get”

It is a great hotel but you do have to be careful which rooms you get because the first 3 floors facing some clubs you will be able to hear noise. I would suggest higher than third floor and away from clubs and you will be fine. Thats the only reason I gave comfort of room a 4. It sure is a close 5 rating. I do recommend this hotel.

“Excellent downtown hotel”

This hotel has a quality feel to it from the moment you enter the historic building. The public areas are cometemporary and stylish, the staff are excellent and it enjoys a great downtown location. Parking is undercover, always a benefit in this region with the potential for severe storms and right next to the hotel. A very nice bistro is open early and late, with the added benefit of Starbucks coffee. There is also a small vending market open 24/7 which is handy. My room was on the eighth floor and had a luxury feel to it, with plenty of space including a sofa, table, desk and office style chair. Great big flat panel, quiet AC controlled in the room, great views across the city and nice bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and noise from the floors above, outside or adjoining rooms was non existent. This will be my first choice from now on and I considered it great value for the higher level of service and overall standard when compared to most all other 'chain' hotels in Amarillo.

“Amazingly convenient!”

We got a room for the Polk Street Block Party and it was perfect. Having parking and not having to drive made it ideal, but we also loved the decor. I'm not exactly certain when the restaurant is open because it never has been while I'm there which kind of defeats the purpose of having it. We loved our room, but the ac was broken and it reached 80 degrees overnight. None of us could sleep, but we were also too tired to request to move rooms in the middle of the night.

“Nice hotel Amarillo is the problem”

No complaints about the hotel, however on our route 66 tour we have found some cities like Amarillo are absolutely devoid of character and life, where do the people go?
