“A Good Place to break up your drive to NM from East TX”

What a wonderful surprise. We have not stayed in a HIE yet. We typically stay in another chain but we were very impressed with the age/quality of this hotel and it's perfect location on the highway. It was not noisy despite being just off the major hwy. It was very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful we would stay again

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The guests main floor kitchen has access to yogart, milk, hard boild eggs, etc. The pool area is very nice also.

“Near the Texas Steakhouse”

We arrived in late from Vegas the room was ready and clean, this is the airport hotel so is not in the town area, and only really close to the steakhouse, they will order you a free limo which we used and was good. Just tip the old timer drivers. Hotel was good however the towels were falling apart which I thought very strange for this brand of hotel, however we were only there overnight so no big deal. The breakfast they serve is identical all over so you could get a bit bored with it, but the coffee is good.

“Stayed at better”

The staff was terrific and the hotel was beautiful and clean but the mattresses were too hard and impossible to sleep on. Even my 8 year old twin boys had trouble sleeping because of their mattress. The hair dryer required me to hold a button to operate which was very difficult. The indoor pool was nice but the jacuzzi had been cleaned improperly and was full of suds.
