Very bad!Posted Nov 12, 2012 on Hotels.com
The first room was horrible light bulbs laying all over room, bed was broke, if you sat on it you went to floor. They gave us another room which was nice, but neither door locked outside door wouldn't even shut. Had to use safety lock at night. During the day just couldn't leave anything of value in room. Horrible conditions.

The hotel was so dirty we choose to get a refund and stay at the comfort inn down the street for the remainder of our stay.

Better than out in the elementsPosted Sep 23, 2012
If you are going on " The Cheap ", than this is the place to stay because the rooms are only the very basics. Glad I was only spending the night there. Not recommended for any sort of lengthy stay.

I thought it was an okay experience...the kids enjoyed the pool and arcade area...I enjoyed the spa. I also went to the bar located inside & enjoyed a cold beverage. I liked the fact that I did not have to drive anywhere and just be able to walk to my room. The only thing I found frustrating is that in the website it states that checkout time is at noon & they came knocking on our door at 11 if we did not check out we would be charged another night. So we had to gather our things in a hurry. We were very disorganized.

Extremely rude female front office staffPosted Aug 28, 2012 on Hotels.com
Did not end up staying because the front desk female staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. We called to ensure the hotel was "pet friendly" and were told it was. When we went to check in, she informed us that "pet friendly" rooms were in the VERY OLD part of the hotel. We checked out the room, which smelled like a kennel and a smoke hall. She stated the rooms were non-smoking "but people smoke in them anyway". We ended up moving to another hotel. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL, IT WOULD BE BETTER TO SLEEP IN YOUR CAR!

You Get What You Pay ForPosted Aug 21, 2012 on Hotels.com
The pros. Excellent location right off of I-40 on the service road, easy to spot and interstate accessible. The free maid to order breakfast which featured eggs, hashbrowns, sausage, and toast was EXCELLENT and probably saved us at least $20.00 for the four of us, so when you take into account the cheap price of the hotel, it was very GOOD. The hotel has a bar / lounge which is very nice and serves food which is very good. The hotel has an indoor pool and a hot tub which we really enjoyed. The Front desk and lobby area are very nice with huge western murral painted on the wall. The front desk clerk was very helpfull and did an excellent job. The room appeared to be clean. The Air Conditioner worked EXCELLENT. The cons. The hotel is very outdated and if I was guessing, I would say that it has never had an upgrade since opening. Carpet is very bad and worn and needs replaced like 15 years ago. The room had a strong smell of (stench) after the air conditoner ran for a little while. The only ice machine that worked was on the bottom floor on the northside of the building. I will say that the hotel was fully booked the Saturday night that we stayed thier. Bottom line is you get what you pay for. I had read the reviews so I knew what to expect. I have stayed in worse and paid more. Hard to say if I would stay thie again or not????

Should be called a Motel, not HotelPosted Aug 7, 2012 on Hotels.com
Hotel was very rundown and filthy. Carpet, chairs and comforters were severely stained. Room smelled bad. There is a bar/club in the hotel and lots of drunk people about. My kiddos were scared and did not feel safe. Breakfast in the morning was cooked by a couple of very friendly ladies that made my stay somewhat better. I would give this hotel a half star rating.

Would NOT recommendPosted Jul 4, 2012
The pool was very dirty, and the jacuzzi too. Staff was somewhat friendly... more indifferent to the guests I suppose. The breakfast was awful... the breakfast cook was the nicest person there.
