“Extremely Clean!!”
I was very impressed with the cleanliness of this room!
“Very good hotel”
La Quinta offers easy access to downtown Amarillo and to restaurants. Walking distance to Denny's and short drive to Tacos Garcia (excellent) and The Big Texan (quite good). Easy access to highway and to Palo Duro and Caprock Canyons and to Route 66 just off I-40. Westgate Shopping Mall offers good shopping.

“Great location in Amarillo”
This hotel was very convient located in Amarillo. Staff people were very friendly. Continental breakfast was great. My only problem was they did not clean our room before noon.

Clean, comfortable, quiet, friendly employees, breakfast, flat screen tv, free internet. I stayed at La Quinta for 3 days. Will stay there again the next time I'm in Amarillo.
“Great Hotel”
I drove from Grand Junction to Amarillo, TX and was beat when I walked into the reception area. The hostess was friendly and happy to help me. I walked into my room and it was clean and welcoming, this was the best hotel I stayed in on my trip from Oregon.
“Convenient and comfortable”
Great location, easy to fine and get to. Very comfortable beds. We were traveling with our pets and we like the convenience of the area for them.

VEry clean and quiet hotel,even as the building was being painted and some exterior repair was being accomplished. Friendly and helpful staff, always pleasant, especially the sweet "waffle lady" for the continental breakfast.
“Very Nice Basic Hotel Room”
La Quinta is your basic hotel. It's not fancy but functional. The high speed internet worked, the room was clean and provided adequate space. I have no doubt I will use this hotel again.
“Outstanding Service”
The hotel was full as evacuees from the Texas Gulf Coast fleeing Hurricane Rita were arriving. Amarillo was opening shelters to house those who couldn't find hotel rooms. As overwhelmed as the La Quinta staff must have been, the staff was extremely courteous and did not take any obvious shortcuts (e.g., failing to clean the rooms or the public areas properly).
