“A Pleasant Surprise”

I was very pleased with our stay. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. It was convenient for our location needs and the breakfast was more than I expected! When we return to Amarillo, we will definitely stay there again!

Nice looking hotel, well maintained and in very good condition. The location is good and more important the room was very clean and comfortable. Front desk was friendly and service was great.

“LaQuinta Hotels”

We prefer the LaQuinta hotels over many others we have stayed at. They are very pet friendly and are always clean and well maintained.

“La Quinta Inn - Medical Center (Amarillo)”

The man at the front desk was a bit surly on check-in but other than that, it was fine. We came with two dogs and had requested a "ground floor room on the back"...we were third floor on the side. Also there is no such thing as "pull through" parking for people with big rigs or trailers (we had a trailer). Those like us, had to just park over 2-4 spaces sideways but there seemed to be enough parking even though all rooms were full.

Wow, maybe this is a well kept secret in Amarillo, but you will not find a better room and stay for your money in Amarillo, TX. Check it out! Got two rooms for my granddaughters and their families for Thanksgiving and could not have been happier.

“Doodad”

Check in was very quick. Clerk moved our reservation to another room due to finding out problems in the original room that was reserved. She was very friendly. Only complaint we had was kids running up and down sidewalk in front of our room in the morning, but that wasn't the hotel staff's fault...that was just parents that needed to take care of their kids.

“Mostly good”

Pool very clean. Lots of families staying in the hotel. Adequate breakfast. Safe feeling. Quiet. Bathrooms very, very small. Tub/shower could use updating. Overall, room was clean. We had to wait to check in as the front desk person was "gone helping another guest" according to the sign. Supposedly, would be back "momentarily." It took 30 minutes. "Flip over" extra lock on upper part of door broken - a work order was put in. Had to go to lobby to get towels, as our room had 1 towel. Overall, it was OK on what I considered important. Would stay there again.

“Not bad, except big dogs which was our main concern!”

I have stayed at better, but this was my first time traveling with dogs and had to pick a hotel that would accommodate them. It was alright, could be cleaner, but it was good for the price. Location was great, right off the highway and in the middle with lots of restaurants, etc. Breakfast was ok, had a moldy yogurt but just threw it away and got another. Breakfast was decent, Texas shaped waffles, toast, cereal, fruit, not bad. We thought the stay was just fine, if you are picky, it may not be for you, but it was great for our one night stay with 2 big dogs.

“LA Quinta”

so far we've stayed at 4 or 5 different La Quinta's. I've been impressed with the staff's willingness to correct problems if any occur. And the comfort of the room of course varies from town to town, but it is much more comfortable than other hotel rooms I've stayed at in the price range.
