The room is not very clean and the pillowcases definitely did not get changed which grossed me out immediately, but we are happy to have a bed to sleep on for a few hours.

This is fairly standard M6. Except my room had a battery powered smoke detector that started chirping at 4am. And just five days after DST began... I changed my batteries. The person at the checkout just said " Oh, I will let them know"... Nice way to treat your guests. And, why does a property of this size have battery powered smoke detectors in the first place?

I literally found blood stains on the chair in my room, and was refused a room change for the price I had already paid. The location is convenient, but I wholeheartedly do not recommend staying here. It was very unsafe. I caught someone trying to break into my car in the middle of the night.

It’s a Motel 6…so it’s not a 5 star place but it is pretty clean and I was very impressed that the house keeper took the time to clean our room and give new linens etc on our second day. The staff was friendly when checking us in the night we came in. I just couldn’t sleep much because it was super bright outside and the curtain didn’t really block much of the light. Our dogs traveled with us this time so it worked perfectly for the 4 of us in this situation. If I were traveling with my dogs I would stay again. You are almost directly across from the fire station (didn’t bother us)…just made us feel safer and there are plenty of places to grab food and gas around it. The only complaints…..the TV was fuzzy and the blankets aren’t very thick!

The room was very clean, Housekeeping stopped by to check to see if I needed anything, However, there are a few maintenance issues that need to be taken care, including repairing the Flooring and the headboard of the bed. Also some improved pillows would be nice. As a budget motel this place is actually a place that is clean and the staff are friendly and caring.

We needed this room for 1 night. Our water was out at home & mainly wanted to take showers. The room was horrible. We got a smoking room and cigarette burns in the sheets and floors, around tub, a couple of bugs crawling on floor, window curtain would not close all the way, tub had grime around outside that could have been cleaned if the maid did her job. Our pillows looked like someone had slept on them, the tables were not wiped, the tv reception only had a few clear channels, the rest were snowy, there was food particles in the microwave and lots of shady characters milling around outside.. Needless to say, we left before midnight and came home. We had planned to stay the night but it was too disgusting to stay. Wild horses couldn't make me sleep in that bed.

First, we went to Motel 6 because they had a swimming pool. But upon arrival, there were two signs, one that said closed for maintenance and the other that said closed for the season. For that reason, we will not be going back to that Motel 6 on our next visit to Amarillo. Secondly, there was molded food in the refrigerator and some unknown substance in the freezer. Gross!
