“A nice place to stay for a very nice price”

The room that I stayed in (King) was a very nice room. The property is in a good location. The price was great and the room was above average. The only issue that I had is that the patroms for the restaurant next door are allowed to share the parking lot. This makes it very tough to find a place to park if you want to go out for dinner and return between 7 - 10 pm at night. Not nearly enough parking to share with a restaurant.

Hotel was much better than we were expecting. Room was big, clean, and very comfortable. Also had a fridge and microwave. I'd definitely stay here again.

“A bargain for the price”

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Great location, close to restaurants, Target, and a quick easy drive to campus. Room was clean and comfortable, continental breakfast had many option. If you don't need all of the luxuries of a pool, etc., this is a comfortable, convenient, and inexpensive place to stay.

“Great service!”

Great value stay and the hotel is in the process of being updated, but it was not an inconvenience. I left an item and the room and the staff notified me right away and was very helpful in assisting with the return process. I would recommend this Days Inn to anyone looking for a quality place to stay.

“Close to ISU Campus!”

The location was great and very close to ISU campus. We went to some decent bars on Main St and recommend the Dangerous Curves!

“Good location”

Overall had a good stay at the Ames Days Inn. Great location-- right near ISU campus. Breakfast was less than satisfactory. Beds and pillows were comfortable but bathroom door was not level with the hinges. Overall, very nice place to stay.

The only thing that bothered me was the motel desk clerk wrote my credit card no on the back of my reservation. When I ask him about it he said it would be distroyed. Was it?????????????????????????

Manager and staff were willing to go out of their way to help us.

Clean room, Moderately friendly service - not a warm welcome, but efficient. Strong curry smell in hallways and public lobby. At night it just seemed like dinner time and probably was a lovely curry, at 8am it's slightly creepy. Inexpensive and I'd stay again.
