I really wanted to love this hotel because the staff were amazing. However, the beds were absolutely awful. We did not get any sleep! Also, the pool and hot tub are in poor condition. Not impressed.

Beautiful property that has been recently renovated. The room was clean and very quiet. Parking was close to the facility and close to my room. The only thing that was not ideal was that the mattress was very firm and uncomfortable to sleep on.

The updated rooms are good and clean. Beds are comfortable. The front desk staff are not friendly seemed not to want to be there. Limited restaurant opening times super disappointing I chose this hotel because for the restaurant and didn’t eat there once in 3 days as the times we wanted too it wasn’t open. 😡

This was the 6th hotel I have stayed at in Ames. I come to see my son on campus several times a year. This was by far the best hotel I've stayed at.

Odd skunk like smell near the elevators. Large prom like event going on during our stay at the convention center, but parking was not reserved for those staying at the hotel - we were told to park on the street. While I found a spot in the lot on the other side of the property, I came out the next day to my rental car having been hit (twice) and scratched. Hotel said I parked at my own risk and there was nothing they could do.

Unfortunately, that is not something that we can control, and our parking is an open lot. We will work on having better parking. Unfortunately, you are parking at your own risk and need to take it to your insurance. Again, we do apologize for any inconveniences this caused.

I stayed here for a business meeting and all was good. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The meeting rooms were nice and easily accessible. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I have stayed here several times and it never disappoints. It is easy to get to Campus, Jack Trice, Hilton and downtown Ames. I will be staying here next time I’m overnight in Ames.

Beautiful lounge area and friendly breakfast staff. The room could be cleaner. Overall it was clean, but dust and dirt in the corners make it seem not as clean as it could be.

Daughter and I came for a weekend trip and everything was perfect. Our room was nice and warm which made it extra cozy after driving for an hour from airport. It was one of the coldest weekends and to go into the hotel and our room with warmth was amazing. If I’m ever in Ames, Iowa again I will for sure stay here again.
