We arrived sort of late, had only to go downstairs to have an excellent meal in the Iowa Stater restaurant and bar. I noticed a small kitchen garden outside which always seems promising. The room was very comfortable. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Finished with a great breakfast. The wifi works without problems.

Check-in was easy and quick. The room was very nice. The caulk around the bathtub really needs to be replaced it is discolored and has some mold.

Close to Iowa State University.

The Hotel is well maintained. The grounds are beautiful. The decor shows the connection to Iowa State, many photographs and art items connected to Iowa State. The food at the restaurant was good and not too expensive. Several times the restaurant prepared the food and we took it to our room. We enjoyed talking to the many student workers there, finding out their majors, etc.

Softest Sheets and Duvet I have ever slept on.

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: Beds
Cons: More towels in the bathroom and better soap. Soap felt like Lava
Location: Came for Iowa State. Close and easy to get to.
Very comfortable beds. The sheets and Duvet were what I want at home! Wish I knew where to get them. I will definitely stay here again when I come to visit my son at Iowa State! Wish the soap had been nicer for the bathtub.

nice hotel close to the university

Posted Jun 29, 2014
Pros: nice rooms with pillow top comforters, heated pool, close to where we needed it.
Cons: offer a continental breakfast, and the vending machines only took visa cards.
Location: We were there to visit the campus
We were there to visit the college for orientation. This hotel was very close for us to go back and forth.

Great location, great rate!

Posted Jun 14, 2014
Pros: Clean room, beds are very comfortable!
Cons: It would be nice to have a refrigerator included in the room. The walls are paper thin, I could hear people on both sides of me going to the bathroom
Location: Location right off of Hwy 30 and just minutes from ISU Campus. Great location. Nice sidewalks/trails to walk around hotel grounds.
The location was great, couldn't be better...so close to the ISU campus. Nice walking trails to explore around the area. Clean room overall. Beds are extremely comfortable! A few words of criticism I would say are that it would be nice to have a refrigerator included, they have the space. Also, the walls are paper thin. I could hear people on both sides of me going to the bathroom. The fitness center needed to be cleaned really bad...it looked like that had been skipped for some time.
