Everything was good about the room except the wall outlets was full with plugs for lights, clock radio,tv, and refrigerator. Which means no outlet for cell phone, laptop or tablet

Smoking room only!!!Posted Jul 11, 2014 on Hotels.com
Old fashioned, out if date, only had one smoking room left for us. We do not smoke. We specifically requested a non smoking room in advance. It was late so what to do now???

The room was adverage... And just ok, the pool was nice! The breakfast was not very good.. So I guess it is true... You get, what you pay for!

Old and Out DatedPosted Jun 24, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel feels like it hasn't been updated since the 1970's or 1980's. There is an old 27" CRT tv in the rooms and half that channels tell you that you need to upgrade to digital cable to watch them. The bathroom doors look like home hallway closet doors bought at lowes. Beds are rickety. Hallways are dark and claustrophobic with many doors. You feel like you are walking through a sub marine. The breakfast consisted of bread, which could be toasted, a waffle maker (which also looked out the late 80s or early 90s) and a juice machine what wasn't turned on.

Better than I expectedPosted May 28, 2014
Pros: My room was in a quiet location away from the highway. The furnishings were "dated," but clean, and everything functioned properly.
Cons: The curb appeal of this property could use some sprucing up, and the lobby and breakfast area have certainly seen better days.
I stayed at the Amherst Days Inn for four nights in order to avoid staying in a dorm during my 40th college reunion.
