We had a wonderful stay - the Fox Harb’r has truly unparalleled hospitality. Everything was so clean, the property was beautifully maintained, and our room had the most amazing ocean view. We loved the pool and the oceanside trail, too. Overall, an excellent experience and would most certainly stay again.

We are not Golfers but decided to stay here because of all of the activities that my wife and myself like. The place is beautiful and everyone is very friendly. My only complaint was the restaurant staff seemed to be very disorganized and messed up on two of our three meals but they made every attempt to get it right. We also didn't like the fact that when you were sitting at the bar you were watching the staff cleaning all of the glasses right at the Bar. Overall I would highly recommend this place.

We enjoyed the nice / relaxing biking trails. We booked a 4 night stay and planned to enjoy the SPA. When we arrived, we were told that there were no availabilities during the next 4 days. This was very disappointing. The resort should alert guests to book activities (golf,SPA) when they book a room. Do not wait until your arrival as you may be faced with the fact that there are no availabilities.

This is not a resort, it’s a nice golf course, but not a resort. Nothing to offer for people who aren’t golfing, very outdated facilities. This place lacks any soul or atmosphere, very cold.

Pleasant experience overall. Good food but not exceptional. Happy overall but slightly disappointed that tennis courts and pickleball were not available. Also, property is not on the beach.

A weekend away
We had a great experience here. Our room was very clean and we loved the patio with the breathtaking view of the golf course. The room was ideal for a weekend stay, and the amenities were great additions (mini fridge, sink, Keurig machine, and heated tile floors in the bathroom). The service at check and the restaurant was friendly and efficient, and the food was very good quality, and made to order. Also, the grounds were in excellent condition. Generally we had a fantastic time here.

The property was lovely. We had trouble getting in through the gate as it wasn't working. Also, Prior to arriving, we called several times but just got an answering service. It seemed short of staff. Those who were there were very helpful and congenial. Lovely.

Beautiful Resort and Friendly Staff
We stayed two nights at this beautiful resort. The suites are very spacious and well appointed with hardwood floors, area rugs and comfortable furniture. Although we only had a studio suite, it had a mini kitchen area with a sink, fridge, microwave and coffee maker. plus cups, glasses and cutlery. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Although we are not golfers, we enjoyed the beautiful grounds and ocean views and it was a good half-way point for touring the Sunrise Trail. Best of all, we were able to apply the value of our 'free night' towards our stay! My only complaint is that the resort did not seem very environmentally friendly - no recycle bins, no towel re-use program, but we were able to opt out of maid service.

I did not like the way I was greeted. Felt like a criminal as if I was trying to break in. Thinking new personnel who should have had more training before being unleashed on the public. The whole check in was not pleasant. Fox trot trail was lovely. Young shuttle driver was very amiable and kind. Great waitress at the Clubhouse and delicious gnocchi. Room was sparsely decorated. Small tv . Weeds on the patio. Overall a disappointment from last visit.

Very remote location from usual tourist sites.
Beautiful property and very remote location. Very distant from all the usual sites people want to see when they go to Nova Scotia. If you were a golfer, this is an amazing place. Overall quite expensive If you want to find a restaurant off site from the resort, you have to travel a pretty good distance and everything is pretty basic around there. Front staff could use some education customer service at a high end expensive resort

The golf course is in excellent condition with the best views, especially on the back nine on the ocean. Reminds me some of the holes you see on tv at Pebble Beach

A wonderful experience
A beautiful resort with plenty of activities alongside golfing including a spa, free use of bicycles, tennis etc. Also plenty of wildlife viewing opportunities including bears, deer, foxes and seals. The room was lovely and a good size with a balcony overlooking the golf course and sea. We ate at the restaurant in the evening and the food was exceptional and service professional but friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and the chef and bar staff were happy to accommodate special requests. Breakfast was tasty with plenty of choice including some more unusual dishes. We wished we could have stayed longer than one night. Overall a wonderful experience

After almost 30 years of global travel, it is hard to impress me. Happy to report our entire party had our expectations exceeded with this classy, clean and inviting property. Our greatest compliment is the fact we will make this an annual pilgramage to relax and enjoy ourselves in luxurious surroundings (but not so luxurious that it felt stuffy - that's a hard trick to perform). Bravo to the Resort and its' amazing team!
