“Could be better”
THIS IS AN OLDER PROPERTY IN BAD NEED OF RENOVATION, FRAYED CARPETS, BANGED WALLS, SINK PULLING AWAY FROM THE WALL ARE JUST A FEW OF THE OBVIOUS ITEMS THAT DEMAND ATTENTION. ON A SCALE OF 1 TO TEN THIS HOTEL RATES A 3 AT MOST.DEFINITELY NOT A THREE STAR AS PUBLISHED. LOCATION IS POOR AND VERY NOISEY.
“nice hotel for the money”
The hotel was situated close to many shops and next door to a restaurant that served snacks ect . Everyone was very helpful when needed and pleasant to deal with, Walking around town was difficult due to that it is up and down hill and with the high temperature you soon get worn out. Even people on the street were helpful when I asked how to get to the post office they went out of there way to give me directions. When checking out the reservation desk thanked me for staying at the hotel and did not charge me for my late checkout
“Extremely satisfied”
Extremely satisfied with the hotel. Great service. I think the rooms have been renovated. Excellent 3 star hotel with great value and great location. I didnt try their food or room service so I cannot comment. The only draw back was the noise of cars outside the street but I think that expected in most arab countries.
“I don't think I would use this hotel again”
Whilst the customer service is ok the hotel's condition is bad, it would be a great hotel if it was in a better condition or remodeled.
“Average hotel with AMAZING customer service”
The Liwan hotel has the best hotel reception (specifically the evening shift) that I have ever seen. I travel alot and mostly stay in 5 star hotels but have never experienced the kind of customer service I got at Liwan. The hotel reception did everything from booking me a car and helping with a travel itinerary around Jordan coordinating my strategy across the Israeli border (given the border closure due to a holiday) and ordering me in dinner from a local swarma shop, which he had delivered to my room just because p I looked too tired to get it myself. All of this was done without me once asking for any of it. This was all his anticipation on what I might need during my stay. In addition to the friendly and helpful service, the hotel is also in a hip Amman neighborhood with a lot of shopping and eateries nearby. The only drawback on the hotel was that it was not super clean and it was a bit tatered (ie the blanket in my room had a hole in it and the mattress was a bit old. The hotel could use an update. The breakfast was also a bit underwelming, but it was free so I can't complain. It was overall a good value for money.
