Five star hotel in two star city

Posted Dec 13, 2014
Pros: The location was close to what we needed
Cons: The business center was sub par at best. The business manager had very little knowledge of sending packages via DHL which is a service Offered.
Location: Close to Abdoun
My wife and I stayed at the Sheraton for a week and in that week we spent the majority of our stay at the hotel. The room service food was excellent, from breakfast, lunch and then dinner there was an international variety and the food was prepared at a five star standard. The decor in the hotel was "Christmas Themed" which was welcoming and gave us an at home feel. The Sheraton is a great hotel to call home while on vacation whether it's business or personal.

One of the best hotels in Amman

Posted Sep 1, 2014 on Hotels.com
I had a chance to stay here for the first time and I have pretty much stayed at all the good hotels in Amman. Sheraton is by far the best hotel for the value in Amman. I got to go to their pool over the weekend which was very nice and relaxing.

Room was clean, quiet, and comfortable.

The service was flawless and the staff was extremely nice. I felt so safe at this hotel and they were all super accommodating. The room rate is very high as compared with other 5* hotels in the same area. not much surrounding attractions, you need to have a taxi to go any place. Overall I would prefer to stay in other hotel next time for better experince.

Sheraton is always good

Posted Jun 13, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel is exceptional. The only problem is that it's too far from downtown Amman and Rainbow street. You have to take a taxi to go those places which it will take 15 minutes. Other than that it's a very good hotel.

3 hr Private Ride to Petra. 1 hr to Dead Sea

Posted May 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
We booked tour guide through Expedia to pick us up from Sheraton Amman for day tour of Petra. Picked us up at 0730. Got to Petra by 1030. Plenty of sunlight on Petra to take good pictures at 1030. Sheraton room, service and food was all very good. Dead sea and Moises Baptism site is an even easier day trip from Sheraton Amman. Make sure to spend money on Donkey ride up around Petra. Its worth every penny.

An oasis of calm

Posted Apr 5, 2014
Pros: The decor, the prints on corridors and in rooms, the staff, the breakfasts.
Location: A short taxi ride was needed to visit any of the attractions of Amman. Insist the drive puts his meter on - fares were then rarely more than 3 JOD
This was an oasis of peace and tranquillity in the centre of noisy Amman.. The breakfasts which we took in our room were fantastic, the room was spacious, well equipped and comfortable. Public rooms were excellent.. Staff could not have been more helpful. The indoor pool was a dream.
