“A small piece of paradise”

We travel extensively and were looking for a hotel as a base for a quick look at the northern coast of Crete. What we got was a cruise ship experience on land. The room was lovely, the view beautiful, the hotel amenities were beyond expectation and the food and drink were excellent.Probably the most impressive though, was the staff attitude. Nothing was too much to ask. We had to make ourselves leave the hotel to do some exploring. The beach there at the hotel had wonderful sand, not the rocky little gravel that passes for sand on some of the Greek beaches. We would definitely stay at this hotel again if we get to Greece again.

“Not for Americans”

As an American accustomed to all-inclusive resorts in Jamaica, the Agapi didn't measure up. We did have a lovely ocean view but the water wasn't pretty like in other areas. The room was very nice but the bathroom was tiny!! The staff spoke passable English but fluent German. We were the only English speaking guests. The evening entertainment was horrible.
