“Fabulous place to stay in Amritsar!”

We stayed in Golden Tulip Amritsar for a night when visiting this city for the weekend. This hotel is located just half a km. away from the Railway station on the G.T.Road which is what you take to reach Wagah border. Check-in is fast and friendly, rooms are spacious, very aesthetically done up and comfortably furnished, the bathrooms are clean and spacious. Food was pretty and tasty enough though 1 curry was little too sweet! But the Star of the stay was the sumptuous Complimentary breakfast which had not only modern stuff like sausages, eggs and cereals but also well-made Indian dishes like Idli, Upma, Parathas and Chole-Bhaturey, a good start to the day! Hotel staff is courteous , smiling and accommodating of your little requests. All in all, we have fond memories of this hotel and would certainly recommend this.

“Good value convenient hotel in Amritsar”

This hotel fully meets expectations. It does not offer luxury, but its rooms are entirely fit for purpose, cleanliness is of a high standard, and room and domestic service is very efficient. The restaurant offers good Indian food and has extended opening hours, so you will not go hungry if you arrive late evening, as we did. The only downside is that functions on the first floor can stop you from sleeping (until 1am) if there's a loud disco playing, a potential problem on weekend nights. Altogether, we were pleasantly surprised to get everything we expected for a very keen price.

“Great hotel with very helpful staff”

Had booked to stay for 1 night. Location is very close to the train station. The hotel is nicely done up and is quite clean. Although the lift could do with some cleaning but overall nicely maintained hotel. The staff was very helpful and the receptionist were quite helpful. We had to go catch a train at 5 AM the next morning and they gave us a complimentary drop- a very sweet gesture. The room was simple but clean. Bathroom was quite big and more importantly was clean since we are very particular about cleanliness. The room was quiet and bed very comfortable. We had a very nice sleep and would highly recommend this hotel.
