The weather was hot and the entire hotel wasn't Air conditioned!! It felt like we're literarly sleeping in an oven. Traffic was also too noisy infront on the hotel. Staff were trying there best, but I would never go back there & surely will not recommend to anyone heading to that direction.

Hotel with no AirconditioningPosted Jul 24, 2014
Well! The hotel had no aircondition - even though the rooms seemed ultra modern! They were too hot and you can not open the windows coz a tram passes by.

Pros: Nice to be in a smallish hotel that has a personal feel.
Cons: Kind of tough for a week's stay not to have a single drawer to store anything in. More importantly, I didn't realize there was no air conditioning.
Nice hotel and exceedingly good and helpful staff.

Good hotel close to city centerPosted Jul 10, 2014
Pros: Staff was super helpful, and like everyone in Amsterdam spoke perfect English. Hotel was spotless.
Cons: As stated above, primary issue was noise from street location. Other than that there was nothing worth
Location: Central location in Amsterdam close to museums, RL District, Rembrandtplein, etc. Good variety of cafés and restaurants nearby.
Hotel was as advertised, clean and modern with an extremely helpful staff. Only problem with it is location, since our room was right on the Main Street it was very noisy, making it hard to sleep at night. Since there was no A/C, this led to an unhelpful noise/ temperature trade off. Great access to the tram system and a block from the flowermart.

Nice hotel in Center of cityPosted Jun 10, 2014
Pros: The staff are super nice.
Location: It's very convenient too. Right outside is tram #24 which will take you to midst places you need. The flower market and all shopping are literally a c
The staff was amazing. Very warm and welcoming. Very helpful. I asked for a quiet room and they accommodated me. Now, having said that, despite being in one of the quieter rooms, you should know there's a lively bar that operates right on the corner and you will hear some of the late night drunks hollering. It's not too bad but it's likely you'll hear some of it. The biggest problem I had is that the cleaning staff has closets next to some of these rooms and if you're trying to sleep in you can hear them banging things, doors, thumps... I just think the walls aren't very thick. But the room was very nice and clean. The pillows and bed were very comfortable. They use a cleaner that has a soft pretty smell so after they clean it really smells very nice.

Nice hotel, good location, staff -very attentive!Posted May 13, 2014
We spent a long weekend here. We arrived to find there was a problem with our room and consequently would have to spend the first night in a neighbouring hotel. We return to the albus the following morning to a beautiful room and free breakfast the entire stay. Although a slight hiccup on the first night, the staff dealt with it efficiently and really pulled out the stops to make our trip unforgettable! Would definitely be returning and would recommend to anyone!

Kings day in AmsterdamPosted Apr 29, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness and well place for getting around the City
Cons: Allow charging of iPhones. iPads when lights are off at night
Location: Everything is accessible from this hotel easily
Hotel is well placed for all sites, good restaurants, bars, indian around the corner is great, pastry shops, trams, canal boats and the night life. We arrived for 3 days and this corresponded with Kings day on April 26th and the street carnival was something that will live with me for a long time. Great city, friendly people and the hotel is well placed to do anything you fancy.
