Hotel in South Amsterdam, close to the Zuid station and easily accessible to the central city by tram. Nice quiet residential area. But walkable to residences, and the museum quarter in about 20 minutes. Hotel decorated in a nice Greek Gods theme (i.e. Apollo). Good breakfast with lots of warm and cold choices. Small little 1-2 person elevator. Smallish room and small bathroom. Decent sized work desk. But an absolute lack of plugs for charging in useful locations - most limited I have seen in a long time.

The Apollo First Hotel is true Amsterdam style. Has all the amenities an American Tourist is looking for. An elevator, accommodating from desk staff, delicious breakfast buffet and large rooms with storage and very comfortable beds. Our room looked over a lovely garden area and all the windows were operational so you could let in fresh air. This hotel is a true gem and we would definitely stay here again.

the staff of Apollofirst Boutique Hotel- As a South African visitor I have enjoyed my stay at Apollofirst Boutique Hotel. Their hospitality impressed me and booking-in was seamless and efficient. I found the room very comfortable and will certainly recommend Apollofirst Boutique Hotel to my friends. The location is near art museums and tourist activities and many restaurants.

Lovely small boutique hotel, close to the Museum Quarter. Lovely room and breakfast selection. The staff were incredibly helpful and nice. Easy tram links to the Old Town, railway station and airport. Some super restaurants nearby - recommend the Argentinian restaurant Gauchos which is nearby has the best steaks.

I just spent a weekend in Amsterdam with a friend and we couldn't have picked a better hotel. The front office staff were so friendly & helpful. The hotel is located in a quiet beautiful street (huge houses line the street on one side) with a lovely courtyard and library to have food/drinks. Its only a 5-10min walk into the city and the tram is a 5min walk away (#24 will take you to/from hotel to Amsterdam central). Both the room and bathroom was spacious and clean - and the bed was heavenly (especially after a full day of walking around the city). I definitely would recommend this hotel!

A delightful boutique hotel in the burbs about 1.3 km from the Rijksmuseum with a number of nice restaurants in the vicinity. Perfect for those wanting the Museum quarter but away from the hustle and bustle

Whether it is Apollo or Expedia at the end of the day an error in the system caused me to be billed $214 for a room I never checked in for and corrected the error in 10 minutes but both were adamant I should pay for this error. I hope all readers of this realize what type of business practise and ethics they are dealing in these companies. I have never been treated like this in in Europe or North America hotel in 40 years. I treat people like I wish to be treated and both will lose thousands of dollars a travellers read this.

Great boutique hotel in Amsterdam
I thought this was a great boutique hotel. One of those gems you find by accident when visiting city centres across Europe. Friendly and helpful staff made my stay a real pleasure. I recommend this hotel for someone looking for a quieter stay.

Just a one night stop over and the service was great, room clean and airy with a balcony overlooking the rear garden. I had no suitcase (lost in transit) but they lent me a phone charger and the bathroom was well kitted out. Saved my life that night.

Staff was excellent! I had some loud noises form AC while there and they quickly switched my room. Everyone was extremely helpful and location was perfect for walking to sites and getting around.

Room was OK, noise every morning, starting at 7:30-8:00am from the neighbour building under construction/renovation (this is Netherland, can't do anything about was the excuse) no dining options and patio was closed after 10:00am. The theater was advertised on the website but was no show nor the option to watch a movie. This was one of the selling point for us. Limited beer and wine options at the bar. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel, i checked it on morning wasn't anything out of ordinary, looked more like continental breakfast for 18 euros. The stuff was friendly. I really liked the neighbourhood, a couple of reasonable restaurants and shopping area.

We spent 2 nights here, and loved it ! It is a charming, small heritage hotel with very friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast buffet is extensive and delicious, worth the cost. You can sit by the window looking out in the garden space to eat your breakfast. The staff will gladly pour drinks in the bar upon request and the liquor variety was extensive. We also sat out in the garden at the tables awaiting our taxi. We took a taxi to the hotel from the train station, and to the airport, but without luggage, taking the tram 24 to the Center was simple. Beethoven street is just a mere block and a half away for restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend this hotel !

Great experience lovely hotel great location clean and very comfortable beds. Would stay again and recommend very quirky with a little theatre. Staff were all friendly and we received a great customer experience. Breakfast was great and good value for money lovely dining room with courtyard.

The front desk personnel were wonderful. They had answers for all our questions. They printed our covid test results. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. The garden was a great place to read and the library was a nice retreat during the evening.
