Superb room and great locationPosted Oct 22, 2013
Had a delightful stay at this B&B... Well worth the money and in an excellent location. Most things in Amsterdam are merely a walk away. B&B staff were also very nice and ultra helpful. Will be returning.

Tiny hotel, big rooms!Posted Sep 19, 2013
The rooms actually include an almost complete kitchen, which is great if you plan to cook for yourself, which we did not. The location is quite convenient, but the hotel is very difficult to spot; look for the Italian restaurant of the same name, right next door to the locked hotel entrance, as it has a big sign and this is where you will find the owner or other staff for checking in, etc. Be prepared to walk up at least one, perhaps two, very steep flights of stairs. No rooms on the ground floor. Don't fall for the "special" 10.50 Euro bakery breakfast -- it's basically a huge basket of bread with a small serving of ham & cheese and coffee. The bakery is wonderful, and you can get a better breakfast for much less by just ordering off their menu. Do eat at La Festa for dinner -- it was delicious!

good central location.Posted Jun 24, 2013
Pros: excellent shower
Cons: stairs, but that is common in Amsterdam!
Location: central but quiet
Owners contacted us before we got there and gave us directions by taxi, train and bus. Easy to follow. Very central while being in a quiet beautiful district. rooms were clean. Would go back.

term B&B kind of misleading.Posted Jun 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
Stay was ok. Unfortunately, breakfast was not provided free of charge. I think it was 15 euros each. In most B&Bs, breakfast is part of the price! They dont bring in more fresh towels when needed.

Great stayPosted Jun 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
Stayed at La Festa for 2 nights. Arrived early & able to leave the cases & enjoy our day. After arriving back later in the day we were shown to our room. Lovely bedroon with LCD tv, well stocked fridge, tea & coffee facilities. Bathroom was lovely & new. The bottle of wine we had pre -ordered was waiting for us in the room. Asked for breakfast for the following morning which was brought up to our room consisting of, various breads, meats, cheeses, jams, fruit & juice. Had a meal in the Italian restautant downstairs which was very good. On the day we were leaving our cases were once again stored for us to enable us to enjoy our stay before returning home. Would stay again.

Excellent B&B!Posted May 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
We loved everything about the B&B. Bjorn and Aidan (hopefully I spelled it right) were excellent hosts. The hotel had everything we needed, even umbrellas! It is very clean and spacious. The B&B is a short walk to the Leidseplein, and the tram and buses are within a few feet which leaves every 5 minutes and takes you to the Central Station or anywhere you want to go. It is in a quiet neighborhood but close enough to where all the action is. There is a bakery around the corner and the grocery store is only a block away. My only regret is that we didn't get to try their restaurant because we were out all the time. We'll stay here again on our next visit to Amsterdam, and I can't wait to go back!!!

Nice place to stay in a nice area.Posted Apr 21, 2012
Pros: Great stay, would strongly recommend this hotel.
Cons: nothing really
Location: Ideal location - lovely area
Really lovely hotel - very clean and comfortable. The staff were really friendly, helpful and efficient. Kindly let us leave our luggage there as our flight was in the evening. We also were able to get into the room earlier then usual. The room was really nice - modern and tasteful in furnishing. Nice to have tea/coffee making facilities. Also was able to use part of the fridge (mini bar). They also provided umbrella's, hairdryer and iron. Even though there was two flight of stairs it didnt cause me or my mother any problems (she is in her 70's). Could cause a problem if you have heavy luggage.
