“Peaceful and Quiet”

Hotel is located in a quiet small village north of Amsterdam. The staff was nice and eager to help. The beds, though small, were soft and comfortable. I would stay here again.

“Better than I expected”

This hotel was pretty good. A lot better than I expected for the low price rate, and only being listed as a 2 star. The room was normal size and the hotel only had 2 single beds, no king-size or double beds. The room had a mini-fridge, TV and safe. The only thing I didnt like was the bathroom only had a shower- a pretty small, stand-up with no tub. The only other problem was there was only one small window that would open, and it was quite warm during the day. I asked the front desk for a fan, but they didnt have one. Other than those tiny problems the room was great. Clean, and in a decent location where the train station is only about a 5 min. drive from free parking & a train into Amsterdam Central Station. We drove a car there, but it might be quite expensive to take Taxi's back and forth, and it was too far to walk. I didnt see any bus stops near the hotel...but, we didnt ask for any either.

“Comfortable but........”

This hotel was very comfortable because it was near major roadway and wasn't hard to find. The only thing that I noticed during my two day stay was that couple of lights were not working. The desk lamp nd one the night bed lamps were broken or needed new bulbs. One of the electric sockets was loose so you had to be careful in pulling out your plug.

“Value for money”

We booked the hotel just a few days before travel(still under radar for most travelers). Even though its outside Amsterdam City there is bus service(#91) every 30 mins to Central Station frequency is less on Sundays. Bus stop is a 2 mins walk from hotel. Hotel staff did not have much idea on bus timings etc Room size is OK; Only twin beds are available; our room didn't have A/C but was comfortable(in May); free internet terminal near reception helps. Shower was too small to have a comfortable bath.

“Pretty good for a European hotel.”

We requested one double or queen bed. We are not used to having single beds, small ones to say the least. The restaurant food was excellent. Given that the hotel was fully booked and several staff were multi-tasking to satisfy their customers, we thought was impressive.

“Not impressed”

The hotel is clean and confortable. Its location is quite far from the centre of Amsterdam, but there are buses each 30 min and trip takes just below 30 min to reach the centre. My main disagreement with the hotel was the fact that they fixed the check-out at noon but refused to keep our luggage in storage. Overall not too well impressed.

“it was fine”

when i booked this hotel i expected to be in the city .. it was lil away from the center 17 min by bus in which last bus from-to center at 12:15 am so you can not be late unless you pay extra charge for a taxi.. the other thing i have booked smoking room and when arrived.. it was not available though they asked me 2nd day to change but i was so lazy :D reception closes at 12:00 mid night and that's wierd to a 4 or 3 stars hotels ..also you are not allowed to stay after 2 am fooling around in the lobby lol so my last cigaret was at 2 am then i have to sleep to forget smoking generally it's a good a hotel though lil faraway from the center and considerd expensive.. as i discovered later on that some hotels costs 35-40 euro in the center .. wish u all to have fun the best reciption staff was a guy working in morning shift ..friendly and very helpfull smiling all the time ..not like others

“Good, just not super close to center”

The hotel is not nearly as close to the center of Amsterdam as it says. It is easy to jump on a cheap bus to head to Centrum Amsterdam, but it is at least a 20 minute ride and the bus only comes twice an hour. The room was big though and was priced at a good rate. Just don't stay here if you want to be right in the city. There is not much going on where the hotel is.
