Buon hotelPosted Apr 11, 2015
Hotel tenuto molto bene e in ottima posizione per visitare Amsterdam. Camera ben arredata, ma piccola: per un maggiore comfort scegliere le camere deluxe.

Nice hotel in good locationPosted Apr 9, 2015
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, good location, quiet, clean and modern rooms.
Cons: Bigger bathroom, more plug sockets better spaced around the room, double beds and better windows or heating.
Location: The hotel is located close to Museumplein with the Rijksmuseum, Van Gough Museum and Stedelijk Museum and a tram and bus stop is only a 2 min walk.
Although we arrived very late, after midnight due to 2 cancelled flights we found the staff friendly and helpful. We were given a room upgrade to an apartment room, however the 2 bedrooms both had only twin beds rather than double beds. The weather the next day got quite a bit colder and the room was very cold as the windows let in a nasty draft, but a portable radiator was able to solve the problem, although due to a lack of plug sockets we were only able to position it on one side of the room rather than the middle of the room. The bathroom was modern and clean but was very small, it was impossible to both be in there at the same time unless one was actually in the shower.

Good PositionPosted Mar 14, 2015
Pros: Bar ok breakfast ok. Staff friendly and helpful.
Location: Hotel close to canal. Boat excursion firm very close. Casino close. Good food and entertainment within walking distance. Good for Trams and museums.
Hotel is good value. The room I was in was on the 4th Floor. The room had a double bed in it. The Room was small. The ventilation was quite noisy. But having said this the room was adequate.

Small rooms hotelPosted Mar 14, 2015
Booked deluxe double room. Was given triple 3 single bed small room.complained. Following day changed over to small double with no mini bar. Is that what you call deluxe? Couldn't be bothered to move again. Would not recommend.

Pros: Everything, but especially the personal touch
Cons: Tea and coffee facilities in the room
The hotel is perfectly located...just 20mins from the airport on the train and tram, on an exquisite street occupied by high-end designer shops and with MOMO restaurant and bar just a couple of minutes walk away and the tram stop at the end of the street to take you into the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam Central. You can walk within 5mins to diamond museums, shops, RijksMuseum is adjacent, Bols museum tour, Heineken Tour, Boat tours, Hard Rock Cafe etc. Or you can walk to the end of the street and catch one of 2 trams into the actual hustle and bustle of the local bars, shops and restaurants one stop on...or stay on until you reach Centraal Station in about 10mins. The staff were unbelievably friendly and helpful. They took our luggage from 9am until our check in and then again, on our leaving day, from 10am until 9pm. They provided us with everything we asked (including plasters for my blistered feet) and left a wonderful note for my Fiance wishing him a happy birthday in our room. We found that note after we had enjoyed a complimentary couple of bottles of Prosecco in the lovely hotel bar and before we received complimentary tubes of Pringles upon our return that evening! It was spotlessly clean, breakfast was vast and cost-effective and the free wi-fi was so fast and competent...don't pay for the business upgrade on it...there really is no need! Overall, it was one of the best hotels that I have ever stayed and am shocked that it is only rated a 3*!
