“Amsterdam January 2012 At the Dam Square Inn”

This hotel is just off Dam Square a good base for your stay close to shops, bars, coffee shops, attractions ect.... The breakfast is good, clean dinning room, our room was also very clean but a little small for three big lad's. As we did not spend to much time there it was fine. The staff are helpful and friendly what more can you ask

“Great location, great value”

Right in the heart of the city, close to everywhere you want to go in the centre by walk and suprisingly quiet location. A bit small but functional and clean rooms. Also, good value for your pocket. Definitely recommend!

“Nice hotel in a good neighborhood”

Nice hotel, good room space (for amsterdam, anyway). The bed was a little bit in the 'too soft' side. Clean room and bathroom. The common areas show a little wear, and could use a renovation some time soon, but this is not a problem for me.

“Pleasantly surprised!”

Was a little worried after reading other reviews but was pleasantly surprised! Basic but clean and comfortable room. Staff really helpful. Breakfast good and plentiful. Great central location within easy walking distance of all main sights.

“Fantastic family hotel in the heart of the city”

What a little treasure this hotel was. Right in Dam Square next to everything and a 2 minute walk from the tram. Easy 10 minute stroll from the Central Station, so no need for fussing with a tram or taxi. The hotel staff were excellent, their local knowledge was great and all spoke good English, so no language barrier. Breakfast was brilliant, actually best we've seen yet advertised as a "continental" breakfast. They even brought out the local cakes and donuts specially decorated in orange for "Liberation Day" when we were there. Lovely touch. If you want a clean, friendly hotel in the heart of the city, don't hesitate to choose this one. Highly recommended and we're very fussy!!
