Nice hotel,in excellent position for all museums.Posted Sep 15, 2014
Pros: Very friendly hotel, all staff so cheerful and helpful. It is in a good position for the museums and parks which suited us. Also handy for restaurants
Cons: Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, the only thing to mention is the sink in bathroom needs revamping.
Location: Location is excellent for the museums and parks, all five minutes walk. restaurants and entertainment also five to ten minutes away.Would use again.
We had a lovely time in Amsterdam, the staff at the hotel could not have been any more helpful to us. They recommended all the usual tourist sites, but also local markets and restaurants. Nothing was too much trouble, also sorted taxi out for us.

Good hotel with good location.Posted Aug 31, 2014
Pros: Quiet location. Breakfast available if required. Having access to a computer and printer - allowed us to print our boarding passes.
Cons: Have a face cloth in bathroom.
Location: Good location for visiting the nearby museums and park. Within easy reach of shops, pubs and restaurants. Sight seeing bus stop 5 minutes from hotel.
Lovely hotel in a good location. Arrived early and got checked in straight away. Helpful and polite staff. Luggage storage very good, allowed us to sight see without carrying our bags around the whole day as we did not fly home till evening.

Stay here at your perrilPosted Aug 30, 2014
Location: location very good. Canal rides close by. Shops on the doorstep. Train station about 20 minutes walk. Buses on the doorstep and very cheap.
shabby, tired, dirty,un friendly staff, noisy and nothing like I expected. Shame as it is rather near the centre so a good position. Shower curtain was rather disgusting. Never stayed in a hotel as bad as this. Glad to be home.

Good value and perfectly pleasantPosted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: It's pretty well located - a few minutes walk from the trams and with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The staff were very pleasant and helpful
Cons: Another chair in the bedroom. My partner found the bed too soft (but I found it very comfortable)
Location: The hotel is tucked away on a side street so pretty quiet. Leidseplein itself is a bit brash and touristy but there are some great bars nearby.
We stayed here as part of a package so didn't "select" it as such. However it was an absolutely OK place to stay especially if, like us, you don't intend spending much time in your hotel room. Free internet access in the lobby was a bonus.

A bit tackyPosted Aug 22, 2014
Cons: Re paint internally. Improve access to some rooms
Location: Central and close to trams. All the sights are easy to reach
Getting to our room via steep and narrow stairs was an obstacle course. The hotel could do with a coat of paint. Unfortunately on our floor there was a group of loud middle aged Irish women who were very loud and woke us up as they went out and even more when they returned after midnight. Breakfast was good and the hotel is convenient for all the sights
