Great all round hotel

Location: Not that central but only 5 minutes walk to the museum district. Two minutes from a large selections of up market shops, bars and nice eating places.
Very friendly staff. Gave us lots of good tourist information. Nice little extras too. On our return each day, there were two washed fresh eating apples in the room. Huge very comfortable bed.

Great hotel for those who like quiet and luxury.

Pros: Friendly, informative staff.
Cons: Price of breakfast.
Location: Quiet and near tram.
The hotel is situated in a quiet area, about four or five minutes from the nearest tram stop. The staff were very friendly and helpful and were available 24 hours a day. The room was very comfortable and spacious although slightly too warm. The restaurant food was excellent though the breakfast was a little pricey. The three course dinner was good value.

Excellent hotel in a quiet Amsterdam area
Posted Jan 6, 2013
Location: There is a Starbucks nearby for breakfast ( 5 to 8 minutes walking). The area is pretty much residencial area.
That's my second stay at the Bilderberg Garden and it was very pleasant. The staff didn't disappoint: were polite, sharp and smart. The check-in is efficient and fast (for long flight passengers as I, that's heaven!). I bought my wireless internet 48h package for 20 euros ( a little bit expensive, but the connection is super efficient) and my transportation pass. Down points: the TRAM and bus point takes about 5 minutes walking and the breakfast is quite expensive. DOn't forget the city tax (5%) that is collected per day! Great points: The hotel room is clean, the bed makes you oversleep and the Apollolann area is posh and quiet!

Although rated as a 5 star Not sure whether it is. Breakfast just adequate and expensive for the food offered.

Great place to stay
Posted Jan 6, 2013
Pros: Luxurious room; great pillows, comfortable bed. Lovely bar and great service from the staff!
Cons: The hairdryer was not very good (according to my wife!), so you might want to bring your own, ladies! The room was also quite warm at nights.
Location: In a lovely, posh, residential area, only about 10-15 mnutes away on the tram. Easy to get to the airport on public transport too.
Excellent place to stay. Lovely location and we got an upgrade to the executive floor, which was fantastic.

Great for a couple weekend away!
Posted Jan 18, 2013
Pros: Modern and Clean
Cons: Loud in the nights & expensive room service
Location: Great!
The hotel was great. We took the bus from the airport and used the GPS on my phone to find the hotel. Great stay if you don't want to stay right in the middle of Amsterdam. You can catch the tram which runs every 6 minutes and is 5 minute walk away. The room was perfect, clean and modern. Staff were very helpful and they would show you how to get to and from. The only downfall was every night there was a lot of banging of doors, I think this is because we were right above the entrance for staff by the bar. Also we didn't like that we asked for a bottle of water for the room and it would of cost €11 (€5 for them to bring it to your room as you couldn't collect it) so we bought water from local supermarket for a €2.. all in all, we would stay again, perfect for couples and great location!
