“Definitely Recommend!”

Great location- close to everything! Seemed very clean. Natalie at front desk was terrific. Some rooms are VERY small- we peeked in one. But our room was actually quite spacious. A little noisy during the night from the street. Would definitely stay here again if visiting Amsterdam.

“Small but perfect”

The room we stayed in was small, including the bathroom, but who actually spends time in the room when you're in Amsterdam?! We were within walking distance of the museums and the Red Light District, and right off of the canal. The room was clean and the staff very friendly and made sure our stay was perfect.

“Request first floor!”

This is a very clean, well-maintained property in a good location. Breakfast is available for an extra fee. Our room was clean and well maintained. Service was very good and, like everyone else we met in Amsterdam the owners spoke great English and were friendly and helpful. It was one of the few hotels around that offered accommodation for 3 people in a room (we were traveling with our teenage son). The only drawback was the location of the room. We were on the fourth floor (third floor of rooms) and there is no elevator. Like probably most old Amsterdam canal houses, the steps are very steep and they curve around, so it's an effort to go up them and can be treacherous to go down. I wish we had waited for a first floor room to be cleaned--it was offered to us but we didn't understand at the time how much difference this would have made to the enjoyment of our stay.
