Cool HotelPosted Nov 26, 2013
Enjoyed the stay very much, 3 nights, Friday - Monday, clean, modern, a little away from the centre and masses, but plenty of good restaurants nearby, close to Museums and Concert Hall and the park of course. There was a jazz jam session on Sunday afternoon, pretty good actually.

Enjoyed stay, friendly and very helpful staffPosted Nov 19, 2013
Cons: Coffee machine in room
Breakfast, especially coffee machine very good. Only thing missing is a coffee machine in the room. We ate at three restaurants they suggested and even went back to one twice, all were good.

Vondel Park HotelPosted Nov 1, 2013
Pros: Tram stop right outside reception
Cons: Better lighting in corridors to rooms
Location: Near Vondel park and within walking distance of local restaurants - would recommend Steakhouse at 170 Amstelveenseweg (10min walk)
Good value hotel for Amsterdam located on tram line 1 for quick access to city center - room quite small but adequate. we were located in a room accessed by a walkway that required a few navigational skills. Lots of quirky "green" and eco-friendly features.

Nice, close to Vondelpark, not so touristic areaPosted Oct 27, 2013
Pros: Location, staff, atmosphere (a good vib)
Cons: Front rooms experience some street noise (but I slept well)
Location: Run in Vondelpark. Rent a bike. Abysinnia, Etheopian restaurant. Van Gough Museum. Shopping. Rockclimbing gym. Relax at the bar
I had a weekend in the middle of a business trip. Found the Concious hotel on Trip Advisor map of the Vondelpark area. I like this area as it is a little bit removed from the more touristy central area, but still has plenty of restaurants. The staff gave me great recco's for parking (I found a close spot on the street) and restaurants. I had Friday dinner at PizzaBakers, and Sat pm at Abyssinia. Both were great reccos. Location was great for running in the park, close enough to museums, and the #1 tram stop out front will take you anywhere. The room is not posh. Not meant for lounging around. The breakfast had all the basics. The bar was welcoming and the staff friendly. I had a room overlooking Overtoom and the street noise was noticable. Rate was good for Amsterdam.

Comfortable and well locatedPosted Oct 21, 2013
Pros: Really comfortable beds
Cons: We asked for parking on booking but they hadn't responded to say it wasn't available, which was disappointing
Location: Vondelpark, museums, Olympic district
Great hotel which is in a great location near the Vondelpark. We were there for the Amsterdam marathon, which started and finished in the Olympic stadium, easily within walking distance for the runners and spectators in our group. The hotel also provided us with a room after we checked out so we could shower after the marathon.

Will definitely go back..Posted Sep 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel was immaculate, staff excellent, location perfect for me, 25 minutes from Airport (1 train, 1 tram with almost no walking) and 10 minutes from centre of the City. Breakfast was good too...

Nice, Slightly alternative hotel in quiet locationPosted Aug 27, 2013
Pros: Slightly alternative feel, staff very helpful and genuinely welcoming. Rooms bright and modern.
Location: Volndelpark is lovely on a warm day and it's possible to walk to through it the museums (although it's quite a distance).
Very pleasant hotel - a little quirky and eco-conscious (hence the name I suppose) but not done to extremes. Rooms very nice; cafe a lovely place to relax. Slightly out of the centre and so much quieter than central Amsterdam, but very near the lovely Vondelpark. Tram tramsport to the centre and main attractions very quick and easy. Area felt very safe. I hope I can return soon.

Clean, comfy hotel not to far to Museum QuarterPosted Aug 22, 2013
Pros: Very friendly, helpful hotel staff, clean room, good service, tram stop next door, decent breakfast fresh orange juice, great coffee in morning
Cons: Breakfast menu the same every day, does not change, it would be nice to have refrigerator in room. Standard room is relatively small.
Location: Park, Museum quarter and tram stop, good connection to Airport and downtown Amsterdam.
Very friendly and helpful hotel staff, good breakfast, clean room, tram stop right next door, 15 minutes ride to downtown Amsterdam, 5 to Museum Quarter, next to good park, good place to stay 3-6 days, not too expensive.

Convenient hotel location!Posted Aug 18, 2013
Pros: Go green! We liked the concept!
Cons: The rooms are a bit small. I'm not sure anything can be done about that. ;)
Location: Leidesplein is about 5-7 minutes on the tram. It has a ton of restaurants and retail shops. A bit further gets you to the museums.
We enjoyed our stay! The hotel room was a bit cramped, but the balcony made up for it. It's only a 15 minute tram ride from the airport. The stop is right in front of the hotel. An additional 10-15 minute tram ride gets you to all the action!
