Lovely hotel. Proper hotel with all the trimmings - huge bed, tea and coffee, chocolates, big bath. Great location and super friendly staff. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

Great hotel in a great location

Posted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: Location. Nice clean rooms
Cons: Should be able to open a window even a tiny bit. It gets very claustrophobic inside the room.
Location: Loads of bars, restaurants, shops, coffeeshops around.
Location - great. Central station minutes away, city centre minutes away. Loads of bars, restaurants, shops around. Nice big room. Also very quiet so you can get a good night's sleep. The only thing I didnot like is the closed windows. There is absolutely inlet for some fresh air and being claustrophobic, that bothers me. But I suppose it is typical of any business hotel.

Great location, friendly staff

Posted Aug 24, 2014
Location: Steps to Dam Sq. (main tourist area) so everything's around you. Better than staying near the museums because there's more to do here.
While the prime location is the obvious selling point, this hotel and its staff did everything right to make this a perfect choice for our week long Amsterdam stay. No sneaky extra charges like some hotels. The only extra we paid was tax. Got free wifi in our room all week that was surprisingly fast for a hotel. The staff was so incredibly nice and helpful no matter what we asked. Room was very clean and comfortable, and they even gave us free razors and toothpaste as well as complimentary box cookies and soda water after every maid service. Highly recommend this place...and definitely take advantage of the hotel bar's happy hours!

Excellent Location, Welcoming Staff

Posted Aug 23, 2014
Pros: Minutes from the train station and very modern and clean.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Excellent
We chose the "Club" option and we were very glad we did. This option provided us with snacks all day long and drinks whenever we wanted them. The club room was a nice respite from the madness of the Amsterdam pedestrian zones. Also, room was clean and modern and the staff was very pleasant.

This is our 4th time staying here

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Location: We like the location right next to the Pedestrian shopping road, a few blocks from Dam Square. It's very close to Centraal Station & the boat tours.
This is our 4th time staying at the Crowne Plaza Amsterdam City Center. We rent bikes for the week and the hotel has a locked bike garage. There's a business center with computers and printers. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable about the city activities and dining. The rooms are very nice and comfortable.

City centre hotel

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: I liked the location, the spacious rooms, the staff were amazing and couldn't do more to make our stay fabulous.
Location: The location is ideal, very near to the train station and all the local attractions are a short walk away. City centre hotel it is.
Hotel was very clean and had all the facilities we required for a weekend in Amsterdam. It was my fiances 30th birthday and the hotel did everything they could to make our stay fabulous... Champagne, cakes and a hand written birthday card in our room. Hotel in General is very comfortable with sitting areas dotted around and the rooms are very clean and spacious. Staff are friendly and helpful. We had a lovely stay.

Posted Aug 10, 2014
Pros: The staff were very helpful and friendly. Also pleased umbrella's were available for clientele
Cons: Bathrooms could be slightly larger but this did not prevent any real problems
Location: Very central, glad we chose this hotel for the location. Canal trips, Booking offices for any tours, museums for our interest at walkable distances
Ideal situation to all attractions. Close to train station, canal trips and tours. We are very happy we chose this hotel
