Great hotel in a quiet area.Posted Oct 22, 2013
We stayed at this hotel when we travelled to Amsterdam to run the marathon. The hotel was perfectly placed only 1 stop on the metro from the marathon start and finish. Pasta buffet the night before the run and early race day breakfast added to a great experience. Aromatherapy oil to spray on our pillows to get a good was a nice touch and seemed to work.

Close to business areaPosted Oct 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
There weren't a lot of restaurant choices in the area; however, I was there on business and pretty much only worked. Close to transportation - easy to get around - and QUIET!! Would stay again!

Modern upscale hotelPosted Aug 31, 2013
Pros: It was quiet, clean and modern.
Cons: Dedicated concierge is needed to push this hotel to the next level of service. As a first time visitor, I could not truly enjoy the city.
Location: Close to Van Gogh museum.
Hotel is very nice and clean. We stayed in a club room that was quite spacious and quiet. The only downside was that this hotel was not close to the city centre. However it was quite close by tram to the museum quarter. The only small critique I can offer is that the hotel needs a dedicated concierge. Due to its unique location, we could have used someone who could have helped us with booking tours, finding a nice restaurant and finding nice boutiques.

Very Nice HotelPosted Aug 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
The Hotel was very nice, clean, and helpful staff. The position of the hotel is fantastic, very quiet area and clean. You can reach very quickly the center of the city by tram, bus or metro, the stations are 2-3 minutes walk from the hotel.

Really comfortable and with helpful personnel.Posted Jul 30, 2013
Pros: Easy to get in and out, nice rooms, helpful personnel.
Location: It's a business area, there are a few places to eat but not much to do in the evening. The train station is just in front of the hotel.
I honestly feel like recommending this hotel. I've been on a business trip and it was very close to the office; the city centre was 15-20 Euros away by taxi but I'm sure it would have cost much less by train (and the train station is reachable in less than 5 minutes walking). The hotel was really comfortable and not expensive (considering I was able to book a few weeks ahead of the journey), the room was modern and clean, with all the accessories one could ever need. I've asked help to the personnel and they've been courteous and helpful.

Hotel is very comfortable and a good location for my visit. For other reasons I would stay more centrally.

Perfect hotel for a tourist!Posted Jul 24, 2013
Pros: AMAZING bed!
Location: Extremely close to the train, buses and tram to go into central station.
I went for a weekend getaway to Amsterdam. It was my first time visiting Amsterdam and I travelled alone. The hotel was wonderful. The staff is extremely helpful. They are very attentive. They provide a bathrobe and slippers and even a spray and oil bottle to help you sleep better. The hotel is fairly new and nicely decorated. The room is really clean and the bed is just to die for. The bathroom is big. The location is perfect! Just a short train ride to the airport and a short tram ride to Central Station. I had dinner at the hotel the last night and the Manhattan burger was very good. Most of the guest are on business trips and it is located on a business district but I think it's perfect for tourists. A taxi to the red light district from the hotel was about 18 Euros. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Amsterdam. The only downside is that since it is a business district there is nothing to do outside of the hotel but again the tram station is less than 5 minutes away to go into the city.
