Quiet hotelPosted Apr 28, 2015
Pros: Location and quietness
Location: No restaurants nearby. Train station is a 5 min walk.
We spent only 1 night at this hotel, but we had a very good experience. Although it is not very close to all attractions, there is a tram 5 min walking which takes you directly to the city center in a few minutes. This is nice as the hotel is quiet and in a nice and quite neighbourhood. However, there are no restaurants around. Also, the train station is also 5 min walking and it takes 7 minutes to ride to the airport in the train, which takes you directly to the check-in area. This is very convenient. Also, they sell the tram tickets for 24, 48h or 3 days which is very convenient and worth purchasing.

Top, Top, HotelPosted Apr 27, 2015
Cons: don't tell anyone else, we will want to be able book in again.
Location: 10 minute one stop from airport. To city centre,15 minuets on tram (number5), 1 hour pleasant walking, 20 minuets by bicycle. Canal trip a must.
This must be one of the best hotels in the Amsterdam area. We could not have a had a more pleasant and relaxing stay. I could not fault anything in this hotel. The cleaning staff kept the hotel spotless. The reception staff, particularly the senior staff were outstanding, they communicated everything exceptionally well. We were never rushed, neither did we have to wait. The hotel is situated in the business up market area of Amsterdam, there are quality pleasant restaurants a short walk away. Please do hire a bicycle from the hotel, you can see and do so much more and have great fun, even if it rains! There are parks and open spaces nearby, the area is quiet and modern. just ask the reception staff for any advice, they have an in depth knowledge of the area and Amsterdam itself.

Hotel & staff where brilliant the only thing I didn't like was breakfast! Long wait for a fried egg because there was only one person doing omelet's & fried eggs ? Why the eggs weren't cooked already like all the other hotels across the world ??

One of the best all round hotel experiencesPosted Apr 7, 2015
Pros: See experience above. Facilities, staff, cleanness, location, breakfast.
Cons: Hot water pressure is on the low side for such a new hotel
Location: Located in a business park, benefit is the Amsterdam Zuid train station, allowing great public transport connections and 10 min direct to the airport
Absolutely fantastic hotel - Staff were consistently amazing, it is not easy to train every single one of your employees to consistently feel like they want to be of service to you. Room is extremely clean, spacious, smells refresh, modern and well equipped. Very hard to find a fault. The TV has many global and especially british channels. Full breakfast is available and is excellent (including made to order coffee and egg options), however this is expensive if not included as part of the package (so look for an option that includes this). While location is out of the central city, the No.5 tram outside the Zuid station is frequent and easily connects the hotel directly to many key central locations including the museums (10 min), Leidsplein and Amsterdam Centraal. The direct connection to Schipol by train is only 10 min, very convenient overall for business or leisure.

Toerist in zakenhotelPosted Apr 4, 2015

Lovely hotel near city and airportPosted Apr 4, 2015
Pros: Pleasant and friendly staff. Quiet. Clean. Spacious king room. The tea/coffee making facilities very welcome. Wifi.
Cons: We found only one of the three pillows provided was comfortable, but this is personal taste.
Location: Business district, so not a lot nearby, but easy access to food at train station and nice 'Asian street food' restaurant at Gustave Mahlerplein 114.
Five night short break in March/April. Everything about the hotel is good. Breakfast is continental and we considered it not good value for money, so didn't opt to take it. All staff friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend and definitely stay there again. In a quiet location just a few minutes' walk from Amsterdam Zuid railway/Metro station.
