“Nice Modern, Clean Hotel”

We had the shuttle pick us up at the airport and we were a short distance away. Check in was quick and easy. The Front Desk Clerk provided some recommendations for us to go have dinner in town. I wish I had more time to spend in the hotel to enjoy the spa. A good clean place to stay.

“don't go if you want a wakeup call”

I scheduled a wakeup call with the automatic system on the room phone. Since I had an early flight, I also called to verify the wakeup call with the reception desk. I never received any wakeup call. I asked about this when I checked out and was told the system was not working but the desk clerk said her colleage had called all guests. I wrote the hotel and the response was, "Normaly the Front desk will get a message that the system was not able to make the wake up call and they will contact the guest personally to make sure that they are awake. In your case this unfortunately had not been done.". It seems they have had this problem before since there was a warning sign posted in the room saying that they were not responsible for wakeup calls. How can you have an airport hotel catering to passengers in transit and have an unreliable wakeup call service?

“Could Be A Great Hotel, But Terrible Wireless Service”

This is a great hotel, but I would not stay here again unless they get their wireless service running in all floors. The wireless runs great on the main first floor to accommodate the bar, restaurant and the main lobby, but virtually no wireless service on other floors where the rooms are. You can't conduct business out of your rooms if you have no wireless service. The rooms have a direct internet cable you can hook up to your laptop, but no wireless, neither for your laptop or iPhone. A gentleman in the front desk was rude and just yelled when I asked about the wireless service not working. I was shocked to find a hotel in a progressive country like the Netherlands don't have wireless all through the hotel since we just came from Turkey where there were wireless virtually every where, even out in the country side.

“Convenient - Clean - Comfortable Airport Hotel”

This hotel was very convenient to the airport, with a dependable 24 hour shuttle service (every 30 minutes). The room was comfortable, spacious actually. Food service was good. I arrived late in the evening for an overnight layover. Even though the restaurant was closed, they had full food service in the bar (which was good), as well as 24 hour room service (not used). The breakfast buffet felt expensive for what it was and limited service, but this would be my only complaint. Overall highly recommended for an overnight airport layover. Looks like they would be good for business meetings as well.

“Great Airport Hotel”

Hotel airport shuttle service was very convenient. Hotel reception staff very professional and informative. I arrived on an early flight and was allowed to check-in very early. Room was clean, free internet connection, good hotel restaurants and bar. Shuttle service ran to the airport every half hour which made travel to central amsterdam very easy. Would definitely stay again.

“Quality hotel & great night's rest”

We had a 15 hour layover from Kyiv going to the US. This was a great value and a very comfortable room for my family topped off with a complimentary breakfast and 15 minute shuttle ride back to Schipol the next morning. I would definitely stay here again.

“Very nice for a layover in AMS”

Was on business travel on he way back to Washington and had a one night stopover in Amsterdam. Wanted a hotel close to the airport with a shuttle. This one had a free shuttle that runs every 30 minutes and was always on time. My flight got in to the airport at 8am and after finishing at the airport and getting to the hotel (on the free shuttle) it was about 11am. Check-in is at 2pm, but the nice staff let me check-in early. Loved everything about the hotel, but the high price of breakfast. My recommendation is to get the room that has the breakfast included and you will save a little money. Overall, great hotel.

“Don't stay at the Dorint!”

Terrible service. Terrible exprience. Terrible location.

Area recommendations

If the central Amserdam is too expensive for your budget, invest a little more and at the minimum, stay at the airport so that the train is easily accessible.

“Bravo Dorint Hotel!”

Excellent hotel. Can't say enough about it. Staff was super nice. Rooms were clean, comfortable and modern as well as green (technology). Free hi-speed internet in my room. Plus lavish breakfast (included) in the morning. Went to the restaurant for dinner that night and was pleasantly surprised the prices were not obscene as you often find in Airport hotels, when they know they have a captive audience. Will go back again and again. Bravo Dorint Hotel!

“Absolutely super!”

My husband and I loved your hotel and staff!! The free shuttle to and from the airport was right on time and only 10 minutes away. The room was so quiet and the bed was a dream - we sank right into sleep. This was the most amazing breakfast buffet I've ever seen at a hotel; we would have to stay a week to try it all and it was all good.

We only saw the hotel and airport but would love to return to see more.

No need to go elsewhere for breakfast. This has everything you need. If you're in a hurry and want to grab whole-grain rolls and fruit it's all ready, or have hot oatmeal, eggs and bacon, yogurt or a croissant.
