Unique style of property and 15 minutes walk to the train or Metro into Amsterdam. Supposed to light up blue along with the surrounding balls but still waiting. Even when I asked the staff all I got was that they were supposed to come on!!! The little food you got in the sky restaurant was very expensive, so only tried it out once I’m afraid but it was lovely. Overlooking a Motorway, Building site/demolition and car sales garages.

Room was grubby not been properly cleaned in a while the table was unbalanced and had coffee stains at the bottom of the leg the cleaner just about made the bed won't stay there again..

There was 1 staff at the breakfast that was rude. I cam in exactly at 9.53 am and he told me that the breakfast was over very sternly. By the way the timing 9.53 am was of his watch.

incomplete information at registration. I was told to scan and look up the menu for room service, which was quite difficult to navigate. Dinner reservation was not available soon and I was told I would have to wait long for room service with no idea how long.The television was not working and I asked for someone to come and take a look. They said they would but no one came. They even suggested they would look at changing my room but I heard nothing after that.Very poor.

Heating in room would not work. Room was cold for two nights. Asked reception to see if anyone could take a look and repair it, but when I got back from a long day at work my room was still freezing cold.

Normally I do not enjoy writing reviews, especially bad ones, but I figured I should share my experience to help others with their decision on where to stay. I chose this hotel mainly because of location and the Wi-fi. My main problem during my stay was that the wi-fi did not work on my labtop which I needed for work, but the wi-fi did work on my iphone, One of the solutions that the front desk had was to use my data on my iphone and use a personal hot-spot. This is very expensive though if you are traveling internationally. After explaining my concerns to the front desk, I had mixed reviews that other customers had similar problems while some other front desk workers and the manager stated that they never heard of this problem. Other problems was that the heater did not work, the shower had a leak (which got water on my suitcase on the carpet), lack of soap/shampoo and bottled water daily, and did not have my towels changed daily. Because of the leak, I used all the towels and left them on the floor, but no one came into my room the next day to change the towels or clean the room. I later found out from the manager that they clean the rooms every other day. I voiced my concerns and the hotel then changed the towels, cleaned the room the next day. The refund process was difficult and hotel staff was poorly educated about the process. This required a manager (they only work 9AM-430PM) on weekdays, so if you have a concern you need to wait for the weekday.

The room was good! Just fine👌 The only dissapointing this was the check-in. We were not greeted or acknoledged upon arrival and needed to ask if we could check in process. During the check in no small talk was done or interest was toned. Receptionists argued with eachother while checking us in about that my receptionist needed to move computer as the other one wanted to be on this computer...twice....eventually the keys where handed over without any information about our stay and without wishing us a pleasant stay. All very uninterested and non-professional. Not up to standard.

Refund Hurricane of trouble
Was never able to stay at the property, had a booking but due to a hurricane our flights were canceled and we were not able to go. We tried to get a refund but the hotel would not give one. We tried to adjust out trip and change our booking but the hotel would not even though we were willing to pay the additional cost for the extra days. Contacted Hotels.com and they were unable to get anywhere either. Word of advice, don’t try to stay there during an unplanned natural disaster, they don’t care.

Best city break
I loved the hotel, restaurant and terrace. Beautifully designed and the room had such a modern - luxury feel to it. Was extremely pleased with the service too. Food in the restaurant is amazing.Staff helped us with travelling to central so it was easy to get back and forth each night.

To drive in/out the parking area you have to validate the ticket each time at the reception, where you have to wait beacause others are checking in or staff is 'busy' on their computers. A second doorkey was a prblem as well, "people just loose them" or "it is hard to programe another key" was the answer of the staff. After 3 times asking we finnaly got one. Also you can not
