Cons: TV was not entirely funtional.
Location: great location! fabulous city nearby!
for a short period of time, the hotel is great, if one does not plan to spend too much time in the room.

Lovely stayPosted Oct 28, 2013
A bit too far away from Amsterdam city centre and a taxi is €40 from the airport and €20 to city centre. However trams are close so it was fine! The hotel was lovely, had a really enjoyable clean stay. Definitely recommend a friend. 24hkor reception. Clean room, nice shower and pretty modern. Loved it

Utter RubbishPosted Aug 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
We arrived at Hotel Flipper, paid for the room, we were not offered any help up the two exceptionally steep flight of stairs that we both struggled up. When we opened the room we were totally shocked to see the size of it, I had booked a double room and there wasn't even room to swing a cat in it! We spent as little time in the hotel as possible. Wouldn't recommend staying there to anyone

Good for backpackers.Posted Jul 29, 2013
Good hotel for our needs as we didn't require anything fancy. Easy to get a tram to the centre of the city.

Without thrills but nice and simple!Posted Jun 24, 2013
Pros: Super Friendly Staff
Location: fairly well located, 10-15min tram journey or nice 30min walk to the centre
Ideal for young travellers looking for a fairly cheap hotel but want to avoid the hostel dormitories. The staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. Good experience overall, would go again and recommend to friends.

Best breakfast.Posted Jun 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
Great place to stay. A bit out of the city but that just means it's quiet and easier to sleep. Still easy to access though. The only problem I had was that I thought I booked a double room but received a twin. I didn't mention it as it didn't bother me so much. So I can't comment on the helpfulness of the staff as I didn't address my issue. Breakfast was the best I have had in a hotel of that price. Cheap and decent. Would recommend.

Does the jobPosted Jun 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
The images of the room sizes need to be properly represented as you felt like Gandalf in the Hobbit's house. But can't complain as it does the job if you simply want a night sleep, the location is good with east Tramlink to Central Amsterdam.

Good price, near tram linePosted May 31, 2013 on Hotels.com
Although the room was small, it was tidy. This is mostly a place to sleep, shower, and store your things. It's a bit out of the way from the main areas of the city, but it is less than a ten minute walk from the tram lines. Laundry and breakfast are available for an extra fee.

location wasn't the most convienientPosted Dec 25, 2012 on Hotels.com
The hotel was nice, u get what u pay for... only thing that bothered us was the location it's a wee bit further out than expected but there is a regular tram service 2 min walk from the hotel.
