We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Amsteizicht. It was a last-minute booking for us, so pickings were slim, but we were pleasantly surprised with the hotel and excited to stay in a period Amsterdam building in the heart of the city. The location was great and we walked everywhere. The room had plenty of space for 3 adults to sleep (a couple with adult child). The staircase is quite steep, so not sure how someone with mobility issues would do here. I didn't see an elevator on the property.
We arrived before check-in, but the hotel graciously allowed us to store our luggage while we expolored. Reception was friendly. We had issues with WiFi in our room, but noticed when we went into the hallway we had full bars, so must depend where your room is located. We did a canal cruise, and the tour guide coincidently pointed out Hotel Amsteizicht as an example of a typical leaning building in Amsterdam. Kind of exciting to have our hotel pointed out. We had a car with us, and parking was handled by an external company which took our car and parked it off site. It was 35 Euros for one day and 40 Euros for the second day. Not cheap, but it is what it is. I would recommend Hotel Amsteizicht if you're looking for an historically old building in the heart of Amsterdam with an authentic lean. It worked out great for us.
